The article is organized as follows. The first clarifies research questions, the purpose of study and methodology about the research of Suwon's Hangyak & Wang galbi culture storytelling. The second deals with methods of study, literature review, previous research and theoretical background of Suwon's Hangyak & Wang galbi culture storytelling. The third presents comparative analysis about the Suwon's Hangyak & Wang galbi culture storytelling. The major contents are Whasung Dunjeon(華城 屯田) & Suwon Wang galbi culture storytelling. The forth suggests interchange direction for fostering Suwon's Hangyak & Wang galbi culture storytelling. The last concluded & suggests research effect & limitations of the study. The last section concluded and proposed some suggestion & expectation effect, so forth. The results and these findings give us suggestions that it was useful to investigate analysis of similarity & differences of galbi cultures.

본고는 조선후기 화성유수부 수원향약 집행결과를 토대로 수원지역 재정확충방안 사례와 그 결과로서의 수원왕갈비문화와 재정관계 특성 및 그 스토리텔링 마케팅 방안을 제안함을 목적으로 한다. 주요 내용은 18세기 수원 왕갈비(13㎝)의 역사적 기원, 원류 분석(『禮記』, 『儀禮』, 『居家必用』, 『거가필용사류전집』, 『飮膳正要』, 『山林經濟 1,2』)과 수원정착 배경 및 그 사회적, 주민자치적 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다. 기원 분석측면은 갈비(曷非, Galbi)와 고구려의 맥적(貊炙)과의 동질성과 고구려 맥적이 불고기와 갈비로 발전함을 논증하고자 한다. 3세기 진(晋)나라 『釋名』, 『搜神記』, 『高麗史』, 『海東竹枝』의 설하멱 등의 기록을 참조한다. 연구의 범위는 시간적 측면에서 고려 후기부터 정조대와 현대를, 공간적 측면에서는 수도권 (개성, 한양, 수원)의 수원 왕갈비문화를 중심으로 접근하며, 방법적 측면은 선행연구와 현장 조사 및 주요 일간지, 전문가 견해를 참조하여 분석한다. 연구결과 수원 왕갈비문화의 현대적 주민자치 재정확보 측면에 한정하여 그 활용방안을 3가지로 구분하여 제안하였다.
