The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between cycle leader's transformational and transactional leadership and athlete's attitude. To this end, a survey was conducted with high school, college or company team athletes registered with the Korea Cycling Federation, and response from a total of 294 athletes were used for the final analysis. Data collected from the survey was processed using SPSS 21.0 statistical program, and the following results were obtained from performing correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. First, as a result of examining the correlation between cycle leader's transformational and transactional leadership and athlete's attitude, charisma showed positive correlation with leader satisfaction. Individualized considerations, intellectual stimulation, endeavor inspiration, and contingent reward showed positive correlation with leader effect, leader trust, and value agreement, while exceptional management showed positive correlation with leader satisfaction and value agreement. Second, cycle leader's charisma, contingent reward, and exceptional management had a positive influence on leader satisfaction. Third, cycle leader's individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation, endeavor inspiration, and contingent reward had a positive effect on the leader effect. Fourth, cycle leader's individualized consideration and intellectual stimulation had a positive influence on leader trust. Fifth, cycle leader's intellectual stimulation and exceptional management had a positive influence on value agreement. Sixth, cycle leader's charisma had a positive effect on additional effort.

이 이 연구는 사이클 지도자의 변혁적․거래적 리더십과 선수태도의 관계를 규명하는데 목적을 두고 실시하였다. 이 연구에서는 대한사이클연맹에 등록되어 있는 선수 총 294명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문은 SPSS 21.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 상관관계분석 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 사이클 지도자의 카리스마는 리더만족과 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 개별적배려와 지적자극, 분발고취, 조건적보상은 리더효과, 리더신 뢰, 가치일치와 정적 상관관계가 나타났으며, 예외적 관리는 리더만족과 가치일치에 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 사이클 지도자의 카리스마, 조건적보상, 예외적관리는 리더만족에 정적 영향력을 미쳤다. 셋째, 사이클 지도자의 개별적 배려, 지적자극, 분발고취, 조건적보상은 리더효과에 정적 영향력을 미쳤다. 넷째, 사이클 지도자의 개별적배려와 지적자 극은 리더신뢰에 정적 영향력을 미쳤다. 다섯째, 사이클 지도자의 지적자극과 예외적관리는 가치일치에 정적 영향력을 미쳤다. 여섯째, 사이클 지도자의 카리스마는 추가적노력에 정적 영향력을 미쳤다.
