The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effects of career barriers on career decision level and career preparation behavior of kendo athletes in university. Using the convenience sampling method, the survey was conducted targeting college kendo athlete participating in the Spring Kendo Championships held in Chungju Stadium of Chungju, Chungbuk from the 59th, and total 280 people responded to the survey. Using SPS 21.0, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results of this study are like below. First, in the results of multiple regression analysis on the effects of career barriers on career decision level, all the factors of career barriers had significant effects on career decision level. Second, all the factors of career barriers had significant effects on career preparation behavior. Third, career decision level had significant effects on career preparation behavior.

이 연구의 목적은 대학검도선수들의 진로장벽이 진로결정수준 및 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 규 명하는 것이다. 이러한 연구를 통해 대학검도선수들의 진로에 대한 결정과 진로준비행동의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. 더불어 선수 및 관계자들에게 선수들의 진로탐색을 할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고, 선수단의 효율적인 운영 방안을 마련하는 데 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이 연구의 대상은 제59회 춘계검도대회에 참여한 대학검도선수들을 대상으 로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 표본 선정은 편의표본추출법을 이용하였으며, 총 280명이 설문에 응답했다. 자료처리는 SPSS Version 21.0을 활용하였으며, 빈도분석, 탐색적요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 자료처리에 따른 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로장벽이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 진로장벽의 모든 요인이 진로결정수준에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로장벽의 모든 요인이 진로준비행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로결정수준이 진로준비행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
