This study revealed the policy plans and prospects of Korea 's sports diplomacy and Taekwondo, and presented significance and value accordingly. First, in diplomatic sports, the most important thing is to recognize the culture of each country and to deepen foreign policy. Particularly, as a part of national policy, it is necessary to study various aspects of each field, and to strengthen the strategy and identity of sports diplomacy. Second, sports diplomacy has a great influence on national brand dimension. It is further developed by the elements of the times demanded by the present age, and it is also helping in the level of the national image. Extension of national brand should have cultural exchange. As a result, each country is committed to sports diplomacy, and diplomacy is of great value as it can have a profound impact on the. Third, Korean sports have a great influence on all cultures, and sports diplomacy is a product of various cultures and has more valuable areas. In particular, through the policy plans and prospects of Korean sports diplomacy and Taekwondo, it will be able to provide the essential value of Korean Taekwondo as a Korean wave culture with the status of Korean Taekwondo in all over the world. Summarizing the above, we can suggest the policy plan, prospect and identity of Korean sports.

이 연구는 한국스포츠 외교․태권도의 정책적 방안과 전망을 밝혀, 이에 따른 의의와 가치를 제시하였다. 첫째, 외교 스포츠에 있어서 제일 중요한 것은 각 나라의 문화를 인식하고 외교정책을 심도 있게 펼칠 수 있어야 한다. 특히 국가정책 의 일환으로서 반드시 분야별로 다양한 측면의 연구가 있어야 하며 보다 스포츠 외교 전략과 정체성을 확고히 하여야 할 것이다. 둘째, 스포츠 외교는 국가 브랜드 차원에서 지대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 이는 현시대가 요구하는 시대적 요소에 의해 더욱 발전되었으며 국가 이미지 차원에서도 많은 도움이 되어가고 이다. 국가 브랜드 확장은 문화적 측면의 교류가 있어야 한다. 이로 인해 각 나라는 스포츠외교에 전력을 다 하고 있으며 그 만큼 외교는 그 나라의 국가 브랜드 확장에 지대한 영향을 미칠 수 있기에 그 중요한 가치가 있다. 셋째, 한국스포츠는 모든 문화에 지대한 영향을 미치고 있으며 스포츠외교는 각종 문화에 산물이었으며 보다 가치 있는 영역을 가지고 있다. 특히 한국스포츠 외교․태권도의 정책적 방안 과 전망을 통해 해외 세계 각국에 대한민국 태권도 위상과 함께 한류문화로서 그 본질적 가치를 제공할 수 있으며 국익에 일익을 담당할 수 있는 매개체가 될 것이다. 위에서 열거한 내용을 요약해 볼 때, 한국스포츠 외교․태권도의 정책적 방안과 전망 그리고 정체성을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.
