This study was conducted as part of an effort to predict the effects of parental leisure activities on their children's leisure activities. For research purposes, the data of 192 middle school students were used in the analysis and the reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multi-reference analysis were performed to analyze the relationships of the constructors. Through the above procedures and research methods, the following research results were obtained. First, it has been analyzed that grades and father's educational background are having an important influence on youth's leisure activities in relation to the relationship between the background spokesman and the adolescent's leisure activities, and it has been shown that it is difficult to see a significant impact on other background variables. Second, the relationship between parents and adolescents with the type of leisure activity participation was verified and it was found that there was a correlation in all areas of leisure activity. Third, it has been verified that there is a statistically significant influence relationship between parents' types of leisure activity participation on adolescents' leisure motives, leisure attitudes and self-esteem. Fourth, it has been verified that the types of teenagers' participation in leisure activities are affecting their leisure motives, leisure attitudes, and self-respect. Fifth, it was analyzed that after examining the relationship between the leisure, leisure and self-esteem of teenagers, the overall self-respect and social self-respect of self-esteem and the sub-factor of the leisure and leisure behavior were correlated, and the domestic self-esteem, except the social factors of the leisure period, were also correlated.

본 연구는 부모의 여가활동이 자녀의 여가활동에 미칠 영향들을 예측하는 노력의 일환으로 수행 되었다. 연구 목적을 위하여 중학교 재학생 192명의 자료가 분석에 사용 되었고, 구성변인들의 관계를 분석하기 위하여 신뢰도분석 (Reliablity Analysis), 상관관계분석(Correlation Analysis )과 중다회귀분석(Multiple Regression Analysis)을 실 행하였다. 이상의 절차와 연구방법을 통하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 배경변인과 청소년의 여가동기와 의 상관관계에서 성적과 아버지의 학력이, 여가태도와의 상관관계에서는 성적이 청소년의 여가활동에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 분석되어, 그 외 배경 변인들과는 유의한 영향을 미친다고 보기 어려운 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모와 청소년의 여가활동 참여유형과의 관계를 검증한 결과 여가활동 전 부문에서 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모의 여가활동 참여유형이 청소년의 여가동기, 여가태도, 자아존중감에 미치는 관계를 규명한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 영향관계가 있는 것으로 검증 되었다. 넷째, 청소년의 여가활동 참여유형은 여가동기, 여가태도, 자아존중감에 영향을 미치고 있음이 검증 되었다. 다섯째, 청소년의 여가동기, 여가태도와 자아존중감간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 여가동기, 여가태도 변인의 하위요인들과 자아존중감의 총체적 자아존중과 사회적 자아존중은 상관관계가 있었으며, 여가동기의 사회적요인을 제외한 가정적 자아존중도 상관관계가 있는 것으로 분석 되었다.
