The purpose of this study is to clarify the stress and coping style of physical education class in elementary school female teacher. For this purpose, a questionnaire was administered to 300 elementary school teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi area, We used 282 data for analysis. The reliability and validity test of the questionnaire itself was conducted by using SPSS Window 21.0 program; the result of descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, standard multiple regression analysis are as follows; The results were as being follows. First, the stress is partially not influences on the democratic types of physical education class in elementary school female teacher. Second, the stress is partially influences on the absolutism types of physical education class in elementary school female teacher. Third, the stress is partially influences on the moninterference management types of physical education class in elementary school female teacher. Fourth, the stress is partially influences on the management types of physical education class in elementary school female teacher. Fifth, the stress is partially influences on the compromise types of physical education class in elementary school female teacher.

이 연구는 초등학교 여교사의 체육수업에 대한 스트레스와 대처방식의 관계를 실증적으로 구명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 서울과 경기도에 소재하고 있는 초등학교의 여교사이며 총 282명을 유층집락무선표집법으로 표집하였 다. 그리고 자료는 컴퓨터에 개별 입력(coding)시키고, Window용 SPSS 21.0 Version 통계프로그램을 이용하여 기술 통계분석과 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, 표준중다회귀분석을 실시하여 검증하였다. 이상의 연구방법과 절 차를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 초등학교 여교사의 체육수업에 대한 스트레스와 민주형의 관계를 살펴본 결과 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학교 여교사의 체육수업에 대한 스트레스와 전제형의 관계를 살펴본 결과 부분적으로 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등학교 여교사의 체육수업에 대한 스트레스와 방임형의 관계를 살펴본 결과 부분적으로 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 초등학교 여교사의 체육수업에 대한 스트레스와 지원형의 관계를 살펴본 결과 부분적으로 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 초등학교 여교사의 체육수업에 대한 스트레스와 타협형의 관계를 살펴본 결과 부분적으로 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
