The purpose of this research is to sublimate the social perception of volunteer work in positive ways and spread volunteer culture among college students by identifying the relationship among the participation motivation, satisfaction, and intention of continuous participation of college student volunteers for sports events. For this research, college student volunteers who participated in marathon evens held in Korea in 2018 were selected as the population, and sampling was conducted using a convenience sampling method. Among the, 320 college student volunteers who participated in 2018 Seoul Race, 2018 Gyeongju International Marathon, and 2018 Gongju Baekje Marathon were chosen for sampling, and the researcher distributed question surveys with 3 research assistants who had been trained in advance, and the survey sheets were collected back based on the self-administration method. Out of the returned sheets, the survey results from a total of 315(98.4%), except for 5 who answered poorly or missed out some questions, were used as effective samples. As for the data processing, SPSS WIN 21.0 program was used to carry out frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and simple and multiple regression analyses. The results of these analyses are as follows: First, the participation motivation of the college student volunteers for sports events showed positive effect on satisfaction. Second, the participation motivation of the college student volunteers for sports events had positive effect on their intention of continuous participation. Third, satisfaction of the college student volunteers for sports events showed positive effect on their intention of continuous participation.

이 연구는 스포츠이벤트 대학생 자원봉사자의 참여동기와 만족, 지속적 참여 의사와의 관계를 규명하여 자원봉사에 대한 사회적인 인식을 긍정적으로 승화시키고 대학생들에게 자원봉사 문화를 확산시키는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 대상은 2018년 국내에서 개최되는 마라톤 대회에 참여한 대학생 자원봉사자들을 모집단으로 선정하고, 표집방법은 편의표 본추출법을 이용하여 표본을 추출하였다. 이들 중 2018 서울달리기, 2018 경주국제마라톤대회, 2018 공주백제마라톤에 참가한 대학생 자원봉사자 320명을 표집대상으로 하였으며, 조사방법은 연구자가 사전에 교육된 조사원 3명과 함께 직접 배부하고 자기평가기입법에 의거하여 설문을 회수하였다. 회수된 설문 가운데 응답성이 불성실하거나 조사내용의 일부가 누락된 5명의 자료를 제외한 총 315(98.4%)명의 설문지를 유효 표본으로 하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS WIN 21.0 프로그램 을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 단순 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이와 같은 분석을 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠이벤트 대학생 자원봉사자의 참여동기는 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 둘째, 스포츠이벤트 대학생 자원봉사자의 참여동기는 지속적 참여의사에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스포츠이벤트 대학생 자원봉사자의 만족은 지속적 참여의사에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
