The purpose of this study is to examine the history of urban architecture in Germany and to suggest the direction of urban architecture planning to implement and plan urban regeneration project through case analysis. A study on the continuity of urban architecture suggests the direction of how to maintain the city continuously in Korea in the future. In this study, we try to derive an important concept of future city planning by examining how we construct the concept of continuity in various cities of Germany. Through this, specific directions are needed to make a place where we live in the urban regeneration project which changes the urban spatial structure of our country. Urban regeneration models that satisfy every corner of urban and rural areas must be thoroughly analyzed. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to establish a guideline for the urban regeneration.

독일의 도시건축역사를 살펴보고, 사례분석을 통해서 도시재생, 도시개발 등을 시행하고 계획함에있어서 가져야할 도시건축계획방향을 제안해보고자 한다. 도시건축의 연속성에 대한 연구는 향후 우리나라 지속적으로 도시를 어떻게 유지관리해야 하는가에 대한 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 독일도시곳곳에서 나타나는 연속성이라는 계획개념을 어떻게 구성하고 있는지를 살펴봄으로써 미래도시계획의 중요한 개념을 도출해보고자 한다. 이를 통해서 우리나라의 도시공간구조를 바꾸는 도시재생사업에서는 현재 우리가 살고 있는 터전을 만들 수 있는 구체적인 지침들이 필요하다. 도시와 농촌에 구석구석을 모두 만족시키는 도시재생모델을 위해서는 철저한 분석이 뒷받침되어야한다. 이를 위해서 도시재생에 필요한 것은 우선적으로 지역에 맞게 조성되어져 있는 가이드라인이반드시 수립되어져야 한다.
