The purpose of this study is, as an elementary school teacher in charge of physical activity for student with disabilities students, describing experience of teaching them concretely in the context of social structure, through paralytic students’ discrimination experience in an elementary school, criticizing the adverse function of socially macro structure and education culture of an elementary school being rooted in centering on general students, to seek an educational meaning of improving physical activity for student with disabilities students. For this, crtical ethnography was utilized as a methodology. During fieldworks, data were collected through participation observations, field notes, semi-structured one on one interviews, retrospectively recorded conversations, personal narratives. Data were analyzed through the contents analysis and structural analysis method(Elis, 204) and represented through the creative analytic processes ethnography. The results are like the following. The non-equalities, being experienced by paralytic students in an elementary school, are as the following. First, non-interest, discrimination, second, irresponsibility, ruling, third, frequency and obeisance, are appeared, And I discussed these based on the law of prohibiting any discrimination against the paralytic students. This study is, as an elementary school teacher, the education of paralytic students should be not only to adapt corresponding expectancy of school members, but also to improve the possibility of growth for socially weak people (multi culture, low income, grandchildren home and so on) including paralytic ones, for the system of elementary schools’ gymnastics teaching.

이 연구의 목적은 일반초등교사가 체육전담교사로서 장애학생의 체육활동 지도의 경험을 사회구조의 맥락 속에서 구체적으로 기술하고, 초등장애학생이 경험하는 차별을 통해 초등교육현장에 뿌리내리고 있는 일반학생중심의 거시 적 사회구조의 역기능과 초등체육교육 교직문화를 비판하며, 초등교육현장에서의 장애학생의 체육활동 개선을 위한 교육적 의미를 모색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 비판문화기술지를 통하여 연구를 수행하였으며, 참여관찰, 반성일지, 비구조화된 개별 심층면담, 일상대화에 대한 회고적 기술, 주요제보자들의 개인이야기 등을 통하여 자료를 수집하 였고, 내용분석과 구조분석(Ellis, 2004)의 방법으로 자료를 분석하였다. 분석된 자료는 창조적분석과정기술법을 적 용하여 소설 형식으로 기술하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 초등교육 현장에서 장애학생이 체육활동에서 경험하는 불평등은 첫째, 무관심, 차별, 둘째, 무책임, 지배, 셋째, 만연과 순응의 모습으로 나타났으며, 이를 장애인차별 금 지법을 바탕으로 논의하였다. 본 연구는 초등교사로서 장애학생 교육이 학교구성원들의 당위적 기대에 부응하기에 그치지 않고, 장애뿐만 아니라 사회적 약자(다문화, 저소득, 조손가정 등)들의 성장 가능성을 촉진시킬 수 있는 역 량을 함양할 수 있는 초등체육 교육체제가 개선되어야 함을 시사한다.
