The purpose of this study, using the mobile subscriber location information of visitors to Gyeryongsan national park, is to identify their characteristics by analyzing the use characteristics of visitors by gender/age/residence and hiking route in the park. As a result of the study, the daily average number of visitors to Gyeryongsan national park was shown to be strongly in the order of Donghaksa hiking course > Shinwonsa hiking course > Sangsin hiking course > Gapsa hiking course during the weekday, and Donghaksa hiking course > Gapsa hiking course > Shinwonsa hiking course > and Sangsin hiking course on weekends. According to age group, both men and women during the weekday were in the order of 50s > 40s > 60s, and in the order of 50s > 40s > 30s > 60s on weekends. Analysis shows that visitors' hiking routes are most concentrated at the Donghaksa hiking course, and followed in order by Sangsin hiking course, Gapsa hiking course, and Shinwonsa hiking course. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for minimizing damage caused by the continuous increase of visitors to national parks and for establishing conservation management plans for the purpose of managing the distribution/dispersion of visitors' use, park facilities and natural resources as well as improving the quality of visitor services.

본 연구는 계룡산국립공원 탐방객의 통신사 가입자 위치정보를 활용하여 성/연령/거주지별 탐방객 이용 특 성, 공원 내 이동경로를 분석하여 그 특성을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구결과, 계룡산국립공원의 일평 균 탐방객 수는 주중에는 동학사 구간 > 신원사 구간 > 상신 구간 > 갑사 구간 순으로 이용 강도가 높았고, 주 말에는 동학사 구간 > 갑사 구간 > 신원사 구간 > 상신 구간 순으로 나타났다. 연령대로 살펴보면 남성과 여성 모두 주중에는 50대 > 40대 > 60대 순으로 탐방객 수가 많았으며, 주말에는 50대 > 40대 > 30대 > 60대 순으로 탐방객 수가 많았다. 탐방객의 이동경로의 경우 동학사 구간에서 탐방객이 가장 집중되는 것으로 분석되었으며, 상 신 구간, 갑사 구간, 신원사 구간 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 국립공원 탐방객의 이용 집중에 따른 훼손을 최소화하고, 탐방 서비스 질 개선뿐만 아니라 탐방객의 이용분산이나 공원시설 및 자연자 원을 관리하기 위한 보전관리계획을 수립하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.
