The purpose of this study is to suggest the improvement plan for the obstacles to be expected in the selection of employment career of security majors. As a research method, based on the grounded theory, which is one of qualitative research methods, the question that the researcher wants to know was set in an open form. The questionnaire was prepared in advance and took notes of unusual content during the survey and asked them again. In the process of analyzing the contents provided by the survey participants, 28 members of the security-related majors who were ready for employment were surveyed for the obstacles of career choice. In-depth interviews were conducted for security students majoring in employment, and what is recognized as an obstacle to selecting a career path was carried out through the qualitative analysis process. Due to the nature of exploratory approach, interviews were conducted in natural form with research participants to discover what the researcher could not expect. Large and unstructured data were analyzed using Nvivo 10. The results of this study are: First, the absence of job information: information disclosure (10), unclear job scope(10), lack of job information sharing(9), lack of knowledge of counselors(8), Second, low pay: lowest pay(10), no acknowledgment of career(10), insufficiency of certification(7), Third, unstable future: contract worker(10), technology insufficiency(9). As an improvement are: First, enhances the counselor 's understanding of the worker through linkage between the department professor and the career counselor. Second, the promotion of professionalism and career through revitalization of security internship. Third, the introduction of convergent practical studies following the advent of the fourth industrial revolution.

이 연구는 경호학 전공대학생들이 취업 진로선택 시 겪게 되는 내재적 장애요인들을 고찰하여 경호학 전공자들의 취업 진로선택 시 예상되는 장애요인들을 도출하는데 있다. 도출된 결과를 통해 효율적인 진로선택이 가능하도록 개선방안을 제시하는데 이 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로는 질적 연구 방법 중 하나인 근거이론을 바탕으로 연구자가 알고자하는 질문을 개방형식으로 설정하였다. 질문을 미리 준비하여 설문 문항으로 삼았고설문 중에 특이한 내용은 메모를 해 두었다가 다시 물어 보았으며, 설문 참여자들이제공한 내용을 분석하는 과정에서 취업을 앞둔 경호 관련학 전공학생 28명에게 취업진로선택 장애요인에 대하여 멤버점검을 실시하였다. 취업을 앞둔 경호학 전공대학생들을 대상으로 심층면담(In-depth Interview)을 수행하였고 취업 진로선택에 있어 장애요인이 되는 사항과 관련하여 인식하고 있는 바를 질적 분석 과정(자료 전사-코딩- 범주화-주제결정)으로 진행하였다. 탐색적 접근이라는 특성상 면담 중 연구자가 기대하지 못하는 내용의 발견을 위하여 연구 참여자와 자연스러운 형태로 면담을 실시하였다. 면담자료 입력 부분에서는 한글의 경우 ‘Byvoice 2002 프로그램을 응용해질적 연구 인터뷰 자료를 문서화하였고, 방대하고 체계가 전혀 잡혀 있지 않는 자료는 Nvivo 10을 사용해 분석하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 취업정보 부재는 하위로드로 정보공개 부재(10), 불명확한 업무범위(10), 취업정보 공유 미비(9), 상담자의 지식부족(8), 둘째, 낮은 급여는 하위로드로 최저시급(10), 경력 미인정(10), 자격증 불용(7), 셋째, 불안한 미래는 계약직(10), 기술력 불용(9)이다. 개선 방안으로는 첫째, 학과 교수와 취업 진로상담자 간의 연계를 통한 상담자의업무이해도 증진이다. 둘째, 경비업무 인턴십 활성화를 통한 전문성 및 경력 증진이다. 셋째, 4차 산업 시대의 도래에 따른 융합형 실용학문의 도입이다.
