Van Manen saw the teacher as being something that would allow him to learn children through pedagoical tact. Pedagoical tact is in line with a teacher's conscious response and its meaning, and it requires a teacher to realize what he or she has not known, or to notice, a teacher. In this paper, through the empirical example of the researcher, I tried to explore what the awareness of the teacher Van Manen says means in the practice of pedagoical tact. As a result, the teacher's awareness helped the student to look at the situation in a new light and understand it wholeheartedly, leading to pedagogical thoughtfulness and pedagoical tact. Therefore, the teacher's awareness was a starting point in the conduct of pedagoical tact. In addition, teacher awareness enabled correct diagnosis of the situation, leading to the educational direction the prescription of thought and action. In other words, teacher awareness served as a starting point for pedagogical thoughtfulness and tact and a driving force for the whole course of pedagogical tact, leading to student learning. In other words, it was concluded that "teachers educate students" was no less than "teachers notice."
