This paper surveys the change in the classification system of “Wakamono Kodoba” from 2017 to 2018 in terms of sustainability and neologies. First, the categories of Japanese “Wakamono Kodoba” increased from 8 in 2017 to 12 in 2018. As time changes, the word usage of youth is also changing to keep up with the latest trends. Second, the recent classification of Japanese young people’s word usage from 2017 to 2018 was analyzed with the expressions found in SNS: Photo, the expressions of play and companion, abbreviated expressions, expressions feeling world, the expressions of college life and job hunting, emphasizing and evaluating words, the expressions of love and sex, the expressions connecting the topic and making the relationship stronger, food life, the words used inadvertently by adult, and fashion. Third, as a result, we confirmed that the considerable words used by Japanese youth had continuity. These kinds of words have the features of fashion, play, companion, food life, etc. The words that are related to the Internet and SNS are a notable part of the rapid informatization. In this paper, we did not analyze how Japanese youth’s word usage changed in the times prior to 2017 because we surveyed only the youth’s word usage from 2017 to 2018. We need to confirm the trend of the words and its change through the comparative analysis of The Basic Knowledge on Modern Terms and Youth Trend Words (Wakamono Kodoba).

본 연구는 일본 최근 『現代用語の基礎知識』 2017, 2018년 ｢若者ことば｣ 를 비교 분석해 1년 경과 시점의 ｢若者ことば｣ 사용양상 추이를 살펴보았다. ｢若者ことば｣는 시대와 사회가 변함에 따라 최신 경향에 맞는 유형적 변화분류로 나타났다 고 볼 수 있다. 또, 2018년 ｢若者ことば｣의 큰 흐름은 SNS를 통한 메시지 용어, 트위터 용어에 대한 어휘의 수가 확연하게 증가한 것이다. 이것은 시대에 흐름에 맞춰 젊은이들의 언어 사 용양상의 변화가 나타나는 것으로 보인다. 2000년대의 ｢若者ことば｣가 심리상태에 관한 어휘 가 가장 많은 분포도를 차지했지만 최근의 ｢若者ことば｣의 특징은 현대 사회의 흐름과 밀접 한 관계가 있다고 볼 수 있다. 또, 현대 사회의 영향에 따라 분류변화법의 특징을 크게 나 누어 8가지 분류에서 12 가지로 분류했다는 것이 큰 차이점이라 보여진다. 최신 경향의 『現 代用語の基礎知識』의 ｢若者ことば｣는 의미에 의한 분류에서 형태에 의한 분류로 변화되고 있 다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그리고 1년 동안 그대로 지속성을 유지하고 있는 ｢若者ことば｣로는 젊 은이들이 실제 생활과 연관성이 많은 패션, 놀이와 동료, 화제를 연결하고 사이를 돈독하게 하는 표현 관련어로 도출되었다. 또 1년 변화추이로 새롭게 생성된 어휘는 SNS･사진, 놀이와 동료와 관련 어휘였다. 분석결과로 기존의 정신상태, 기분과 관련된 어휘보다는 인터넷의 영향, 정보화 및 SNS의 사용으로 인한 관련어로 ｢若者ことば｣ 사용양상 비중이 점점 더 증가하고 있다고 할 수 있다.
