This study is aim to effects of police subculure due to the unique cultural characteristics of police organizations among the various prerequisites that affect police officers' turnover. It analyzed the influence of police subculture and transfer degree on 354 police officers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Sampling method is convenience sampling. And specific analysis results are as follows: First, Cynicism in police subculture is increased in police officer’s turnover intention. Second, It proves that Male chauvinism in police subculture cancel out Cynicism in police subculture. Based on these results, It was suggested that desirable cultural climate within police organization and adoption to stereotypes such as sexual task segregation within the police organization.

이 연구는 경찰관의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 다양한 선행요인 중 경찰조직만의 고유한 문화적 특성에 기인한 하위문화의 영향관계를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 경찰 하위문화와 이직의도와의 영향관계를 실증분석하기 위해 서울과 경기지역에 근무하는 경찰관 400명 중 354명을 분석대상으로 하였다. 표집방식은 편의표집방식을 활용하였고, 구체적 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경찰하위문화 중 냉소주의는 조직 구성원인 경찰관 개개인의 이직의도를 증가시키는 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 경찰관 개개인의 이직의도에 영향을 주는 경찰하위문화 요인 중 남성주의는 냉소주의를 상쇄시키는 요인임이 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로, 경찰조직 내 바람직한 문화적 풍토의 조성이 필요하다는 점과 성별직무분리와 같은 고정관념을 지양한다는 시사점을 도출하였다.
