The characteristics of Chinese internet romance novels that obtain good responses in Korea are active and independent women. However, perfect male character of alpha man and ‘Cinderella’-typed narrative code are similar to them of existing romance novels. They are common sensitivity of sociocultural environment of China and Korea today. Especially, preference to sweet and bright romance narration reflects domestic sociocultural characteristics. The fatigue experienced in conflicts of actualities is simple, but shows response to sweet narration relatively. In this sense, reading context of domestic readers in reading of Chinese internet romance novel is as follows. One is the desire of women who intend to relieve limits of actualities through perfect saviour. It verifies toughness of actualities experienced by women in today’s society. The other one is resisting psychology for several conflicts experienced in our society. In good narration relieving conflict structure, psychology of domestic readers who want to experience “other space” in daily life should be focused in domestic acception of Chinese internet romance novel today.

본고는 중국인터넷로맨스소설이 국내 독자들과 어떤 지점에서 만나고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 국내에서 좋은 반응을 얻고 있는 중국인터넷로맨소설은 적극성과 능동성을 전시하는 여성인물과 완벽성이 한층 강화된 남성인물을 내세워 기존 로맨스소설과는 차이를 모색한다. 하지만, 출중한 남성과 상대적으로 덜 출중한 여성이 만드는 사랑 이야기라는 점에서, 결국은 구원자 남성과 구원대상으로서 여성이라는 ‘신데렐라’식 서사로 귀결되고 있다. 등장인물의 이러한 성격적인 특질 및 ‘신데렐라’식 서사 코드는 중국과 한국이 공통적으로 요청하는 감성이라 할 수 있다. 특별히, 갈등이 삭제되고 달달한 로맨스서사에 대한 선호는 당대 우리사회의 사회적 문화적 지형이 만들어낸 독서맥락이라고 볼 수 있다. 현실 속 갈등과 대립 속에서 경험하는 피로감이 갈등이 약화되어 단순하지만, 상대적으로 밝고 ‘착한 서사’에 대한 호응으로 나타나고 있는 것이다. 이로 보자면, 중국인터넷로맨스소설 읽기를 통해 유추 가능한 국내 독자들의 독서맥락은 다음과 같다. 하나는 현실의 한계를 완벽한 구원자 남성을 통해 해소하고자 하는 여성의 욕망이다. 이는 중국 또는 한국이라는 공간과 시간을 초월하여 여성이 여전히 경험하는, 알고는 있지만 수용하고 싶지 않는 현실의 팍팍함을 새삼 확인시켜 준다. 다른 하나는 ‘착한 서사’가 국내 독자들과 만나는 지점에 우리 사회에서 경험하는 여러 갈등과 대립에 대한 고단함이 놓여 있다는 것이다. 갈등 구조를 덜어낸 착한 서사에 대한 국내 독자들의 선호는 일상 속 ‘다른 공간’에 대한 욕망을 보여준다. 국내 독자들의 이러한 독서심리야말로 오늘날 중국인터넷로맨스소설의 국내 수용에서 주목해야 할 부분일 것이다.
