This study is an exploratory study on the structure of destination image. The purpose of this study is to find the destination image of Nagasaki prefecture through the tourism promotion video-CD. After literature review regarding image in general, destination image were examined. This study presents on comment of 58 university students about tourism video-CD by a KJ method. It revealed that affects generated by the tourism video-CD had direct effects on the cognitive evaluation of the destination image. Also, it showed meaningful relationship with cognitive image and affective image. In order to get visiting intention about destination image, it has to carry on positive image of destination image. Further studies done on a large scale and type of information sources would be necessary.
