The purpose of this study is to examine and interpret the experiences of married immigrant women who migrate through marriage and establish new family relations from an intercultural point of view. In particular, this paper focuses on Vietnamese immigrant marriage migrants who are showing rapid growth among domestic migrants. In order to understand the life world of married immigrant women in depth, the researcher studied the experiences of married immigrant women based on the concept of cultural diversity, the formation of equal relationships and the interaction of empathy. The narrative of married immigrant women was selected and analyzed in depth by five research participants. The interpretation of interculturality in family relations of married immigrant women is as follows. First, in the family relation to the recognition of cultural diversity, they accepted openness to diversity and rejected the difference. Second, the relationship of family to equal relationship was mostly in one side. Third, the family relationship of empathy through interaction appeared as family hospitality toward married immigrant women. It would be an ethical practice of mutual culture to form a consensus on immigrants who are minorities in a multicultural society and to create a society in which others coexist.

이 연구는 상호문화적 관점으로 결혼을 통해 이주하고 새로운 가족 관계를 맺는 결혼 이주여성의 경험을 살펴보고 이를 해석하고자 한다. 특히 이 논문에서는 국내 이주민 중 빠른 증가세를 보이는 베트남 출신 결혼이주여성들에 주목하였다. 연구자는 결혼이주 여성의 생활세계를 심층적으로 이해하기 위하여 문화의 다양성, 평등한 관계 형성, 공감 의 상호작용이라는 상호문화성 개념을 바탕으로 결혼이주여성의 경험을 연구하였다. 이를 위해 연구참여자 5명에 관한 내러티브 연구를 진행하여 분석하였다. 결혼이주여성 의 가족 관계에 나타난 상호문화성을 해석하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화 다양성의 인정 에 대한 가족 관계에서는 다름에 대하여 열린 마음으로 다양성을 받아들이기도 하고, 다 름에 대하여 거부하기도 하였다. 둘째, 평등한 관계에 대한 가족의 관계는 한쪽으로 기 울어진 양상이 대부분이었다. 결혼이주여성들이 일방적으로 적응을 하기 위해 적극적 인 모습이었다. 셋째, 공감의 상호작용에 대한 가족 관계는 결혼이주여성을 향한 가족의 환대로 나타났다. 다문화사회에서 소수자인 이주민들에 대하여 공감대를 형성하여 타 자들이 더불어 공존하는 사회를 만드는 것이 상호문화성의 윤리적 실천일 것이다.
