Korean Mission is still covering significant parts of the World Mission and the position status of Korean missionaries has been reported to be the second in the world. However, many voices of introspection have consistently come out to scold the mission that sticks to Korea’s own pattern and method, and the mission that alters the mission fields into Korean style, as well as the attitudes that disregard non-western churches even if Korean Mission itself is non-western. Accordingly, it is inevitable to reconsider the Korean Mission for missionary works in the future. Among others, it is highlighted as an important task that Korean missionaries should clearly understand and accept the changes in recent mission fields, then, going further, should seek the changes to deeply understand and perceive own identity as a missionary.This study takes a note that the identity of missionary is a very important topic associated with ‘identification’ and attempts theological consideration that suggests to pursue the ‘Incarnational Identification Mission’ through ‘Theological Contextualization’ as an alternative to seek the identity of desirable missionary for reconsideration of recent Korean Mission. In particular, it is emphasized that ‘incarnation’ should be a precondition with a priority as a ground in the Bible for identification itself. In terms of identification area, ‘contextualization’, which contemplates the gospel not only as a culture but also as entire aspects including society, politics, economy, etc., should be considered. Therefore, the identification in identity of missionary in these days should be discussed by taking a consideration of ‘incarnation’ and ‘contextualization’. To this end, this study first investigates the Theological Contextualization and Incarnational Mission to perform a discourse. In addition, this study presents the ‘Incarnational Identification Mission’ as more advanced concept of a mission and suggests four major characteristics of Incarnational Identification Mission, which Korean Mission should pursue in the future, such as voluntary identification, gradual identification, double identification and identification, that is accomplishing common evidence.

한국선교는 여전히 세계 선교의 많은 부분을 감당하고 있고, 선교사위상 또한 세계 2위로 보고되고 있다. 그러나 한국식 패턴과 방법을 그대로 고수하는 한국적 선교, 선교지를 한국화하는 선교, 비서구인데도 비서구교회를 무시하는 태도 등으로 자성의 목소리가 지속해서 지적되고 있다. 따라서 앞으로의 선교를 위해 한국선교의 재고(再考)가 불가피하다. 무엇보다 한국 선교사들이 오늘날 선교현장의 변화를 분명히 이해하고 수용하며 자신의 선교사 정체성을 깊이 이해하고 인식하는 변화를 모색하는게 우선이고 중요하다는 점이 강조되고 있다. 따라서 선교사 정체성의 재고를통한 변화가 한국선교에 요청되고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 선교사 정체성이 ‘동일화’(identification)와 관련있는 상당히 중요한 주제임을 주목하며, 이에 오늘날 한국선교의 재고를 위한 바람직한 선교사 정체성을 모색하는 대안으로 ‘신학적 상황화’를통한 ‘성육신적 동일화 선교’를 지향할 것을 제언하는 신학적 고찰(考察) 을 시도한다. 특별히 동일화의 성서적 근거에는 ‘성육신’이 우선적으로 전제되어야 함이 강조되고 있고, 동일화의 영역에 관해서는 복음을 문화뿐아니라 사회, 정치, 경제 등 총체적 차원을 고려하는 ‘상황화’를 고려해야한다. 따라서 오늘날 선교사 정체성에 있어서 동일화는 ‘성육신’과 ‘상황화’를 고려하여 논의해야 한다. 이를 위해 신학적 상황화와 성육신적 선교를 살펴보며 논한다. 그리고 보다 발전된 선교 개념으로 ‘성육신적 동일화선교’(Incarnational Identification Mission)를 제시하며, 앞으로의 한국선교를 위해 지향해야 할 성육신적 동일화 선교의 4가지 특징으로 자발적동일화, 점진적 동일화, 이중 동일화, 공동의 증거를 이루어가는 동일화를 제언한다.
