This study aims to examine the influence of emotional dissonance and perception of elder abuse perceived by Long-Term Care Workers, and identify the mediating effects of Job Stress on the relation between these two variables. The total 215 people participate in the study; long-term careworkers who are working in long-term care setting. The major findings of this study are as followings. First, it is confirmed that emotional dissonance of long-term careworkers has direct negative effects on perception of elder abuse. Second, it is confirmed that Job Stress of long-term careworkers has direct negative effects on perception of elder abuse. Third, it is confirmed that job stress partially mediated the relation between emotional dissonance and perception of elder abuse. Based on these findings, a set of practical and political suggestions were presented to decreases the emotional dissonance and Job Stress accompanying perception of elder abuse of long-term careworkers.

본 연구는 노인요양시설 요양보호사의 감정부조화가 노인학대인식에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 이들 변인간의 관계에서 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 규명하고 자 실시되었다. 실증연구를 수행하기 위해 노인요양시설 요양보호사 215명을 연 구대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 연구 결과 감정부조화와 노인학대인식, 직무 스트레스는 유의한 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 요양보호사의 감정부조화는 노인학대인식에 직접적인 부적(-) 영향을 미 치는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 요양보호사의 직무스트레스는 노인학대인식에 직접적인 부적(-) 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째, 직무스트레스는 감정부조화와 노인학대인식과의 관계를 부분적으로 매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 요양보호사의 노인학대인식 제 고를 위해 감정부조화와 직무스트레스를 감소시키기 위한 관리방안 모색을 위한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
