This study has a purpose to determine the Character and System of Pedagogy in North Korea. Education in North Korea is a social phenomenon that is to raise the people in power as a mission of modifying human nature, and the fundamental principles of education is intended to make people of Revolutionized, laboring classification, Communization. North Korea's system of pedagogy is separated by the side of the two-dimensional the aspects of basic category of the socialist education and the Educational Field and Support. The former is classified into General Education and Special Education, and there is the education by categories as sub-sector. This classified education is divided into Pre-School Education, School Education and Adult Education by the step, Upbringing Education, Social Education and Military Education by place, and Educational Discipline, Cultural Education, Educational Teaching, Educational Management, Subject Education and etc by contents. In the view of educational activity, it has the side of Object, Contents, Method, and Evaluation. Discipline of Socialistic Education, Educational Contents, Educational Teaching, Cultural Education and etc will include these aspects in North Korea. The level of support contains infrastructure and measures in which educational activities can be made, and Educational System, Educational Management and Teacher Education can be included here. Besides, the Juche Ideology has a direct influence on all segments of pedagogy as the top indicator of pedagogy.

본 연구는 북한의 교육학 성격과 체계를 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구문제로는 북한 교 육학의 개념, 사회주의 교육학의 기능, 기본원리 및 교육사업의 원칙, 북한사회주의 교육학의 대 상과 범주, 마지막으로 북한 사회주의 교육학의 체계를 분석하고자 하였다. 북한에서의 교육은 사회적 현상으로서 사람을 힘 있는 존재로 키우는 인간개조사업의 성격을 띠고 있으며, 교육학의 기본원리는 사람들을 혁명화, 로동계급화, 공산주의화하는데 두고 있다. 북한의 교육학 체계는 사회주의 교육학의 기본범주 측면과 교육활동과 지원측면의 두 가지 차원으로 구분된다. 전자를 보면 일반교육학과 특수교육학으로 구분되며, 이들 하위에 부문별 교 육학이 존재한다. 이들 부문별 교육학은 단계별로는 학교전과 학교교육학 그리고 성인교육학으 로, 장소별로는 가정교육학, 사회교육학, 군사교육학으로 그리고 내용별로는 기초론, 교양론, 교수 론, 관리론, 교과교육학 등으로 구분된다. 교육활동차원에서는 교육목적, 내용, 방법, 평가 관련 제 측면이 포함되는데 북에서는 사회주 의교육원리론, 교육내용론, 교수론, 교양론 등이 이를 포함하고 있다. 영도 지원차원에서는 교육 활동이 이루어질 수 있는 기반과 조치를 포함하는데 교육제도론, 학교관리론과 교원론 등이 여기 에 포함된다고 할 수 있다. 한편, 주체사상론은 교육학의 상위 지표로서 교육학의 모든 부문에 직접 영향하고 있다.
