This study aimed to find out how academic self-efficiency affects university life satisfaction by studying university students who are majoring in four-year hairdressing in Seoul. The collected data were used for frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability verification, correlation analysis, multiple return analysis, and one-way variation analysis (ANOVA) using SPSS 21.0. The results of the study were as follows: First, there were many women, first grade students, and middle school and hair majors. Most of them chose beauty for their aptitude or interest, and they were generally satisfied with their beauty courses. Second, as a result of looking at the level of academic self-efficiency and satisfaction with college life, the level of academic self-efficiency appeared to be three factors: academic efficacy, difficulty in learning, and academic self-confidence. University life satisfaction was derived from five factors of justness, psychological, environmental, academic and social adaptation, and academic efficacy by sub-factor of academic self-efficiency, social satisfaction. Third, the differences in academic self-efficiency according to general characteristics showed significant differences in grades, grades, majors, reasons for choosing a beauty major, and satisfaction with a beauty degree depending on the sub-factor. Fourth, by examining the difference in satisfaction of university life according to general characteristics, the reasons for choosing grade, grade, major, beauty major, and degree of satisfaction with beauty degree were significant according to each sub-factor. Fifth, the effect of the academic self-efficiency on the satisfaction of college life was found to be important factors in academic adaptation, such as academic efficacy, difficulty in learning, and confidence in learning, academic efficacy in social and psychological adaptation were important factors, and the sense of academic efficacy, difficulty in learning, and environmental adaptability were important factors. In future research, we hope that more objective and clear research results will be produced as a basis for presenting various improvement measures through follow-up research comparing students of two-year colleges and colleges as well as four-year colleges and students of beauty majors nationwide, depending on their academic self-efficacy and satisfaction of college life.

본 연구는 서울지역에 소재한 4년제 미용학과를 재학 중인 대학생들을 연구대상으로 하여 학업적 자기 효능감이 대학생활 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도 검증, 상관관 계 분석, 다중회귀분석, 일원변량분석(ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같 다. 첫째, 본 연구의 조사대상자는 여성이 많았으며 1학년이 제일 많았고 성적은 중, 그리 고 헤어전공이 많았다. 이들은 대부분 적성이나 흥미로 미용을 선택하였고 미용학과를 대체로 만족하는 것으로 조사 되었다. 둘째, 학업적 자기효능감과 대학생활 만족도의 차원 을 알아본 결과 학업적 자기효능감은 학업적 효능감, 학습 난이도 조절, 학업 자신감의 세 가지 요인으로 나타났으며 대학생활 만족도는 정의적, 심리적, 환경적, 학업적, 사회적 적응의 다섯 가지 요인이 도출되었고 학업적 자기효능감의 하위요인별 학업적 효능감, 학습 난이도 조절은 대학생활 만족도의 하위요인별 사회적, 학업적, 심리적, 정의적, 환경 적 적응과, 학업적 자기효능감의 하위요인별 학업 자신감은 대학생활 만족도의 하위요인 별 사회적, 심리적, 학업적 적응과 통계적으로 유의미한 정(+)의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 각각 나타났다(p<.01). 셋째, 일반적 특성에 따른 학업적 자기효능감의 차이를 알아본 결과 학년, 성적, 전공, 미용전공 선택 이유, 미용학과 만족도는 하위요인별에 따라 각각 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 넷째, 일반적 특성에 따른 대학생활 만족도의 차이를 알아본 결과 학년, 성적, 전공, 미용전공 선택 이유, 미용학과 만족도는 하위요인별에 따라 각각 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 다섯째, 학업적 자기효능감이 대학생활 만족도에 미치는 영향 에 대해 알아본 결과 학업적 적응에 있어서는 학업적 효능감, 학습 난이도 조절, 학업 자신감이 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었고, 사회적 적응과 심리적 적응에 있어서는 학업적 효능감, 학업 자신감이 중요한 요인이었으며, 정의적 적응은 학업적 효능감, 학습 난이도 조절이, 환경적 적응에서는 학업적 효능감이 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 향후 연구에 서는 학업적 자기효능감과 대학생활의 만족에 따라 진로선택에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지와 또는 전국의 4년제 미용전공대학교와 재학생들뿐만 아니라 2년제 미용전공전문대학교와 전문대학 재학생들을 비교하는 후속 연구를 통해서 다양한 개선방안을 제시할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용되어 좀 더 객관적이고 명확한 연구결과가 도출되기를 기대한다.
