This study attempted to investigate the effects of career preparation behavior on educational satisfaction of students in Beauty academy. The survey was conducted among 10-12th graders who were talking skin care, hairdressing and make-up classes at cosmetology academies in Seoul and Gyeonggi from October 10, 2018 to October 29, 2018. Each survey used a Likert scale, and research method used was recovered by visiting it or sending it by mail. Among a total of 490 questionnaires distributed, 373 copies excluding 17 poorly answered ones were used for final analysis. Statistical processing of the collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program after the data coding and data cleaning process. The result of analysis are as follows. Firstly, general characteristics of students at the beauty academy had a purpose of attending classes to apply to college and the make-up related class was the most popular course. Secondly, the result of career preparation behavior and educational satisfaction had the reliable rate of over 0.6 when the validity and reliability of career preparation behavior and educational satisfaction was searched. Lastly, the research on impact of career preparation behavior on educational satisfaction showed that the career preparation behavior had a significant effect on educational satisfaction. This study suggests that the beauty academy should include more specialized education and learning to enable to choose an effective course as well as career counseling to help them make the right choices to reach their career and interests to high school students who are preparing for a career in order to choose the right course. Based on the results of this study, the related subsequent studies are proposed as follows. The subsequent studies would need to expand the survey are as nationwide and also include the college students attending the department of cosmetology in addition to academic institutes to research on career preparation behavior and educational satisfaction.

본 연구는 미용학원 수강생의 진로준비행동이 교육만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법은 2018년 10월 10일부터 2018년 10월 29일까지 서울.경기 지역의 미용학원에서 미용교육을 받는 고등학교 1학년부터 3학년을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시 하여 각 설문은 Likert 척도를 사용하였고, 조사방법은 연구자가 직접 방문하거나 우편을 발송하여 회수하였다. 설문지는 총 490부를 배포하고, 그 중 설문의 응답이 불성실한 17부를 제외한 총 473부를 분석하여 최종적으로 연구에 활용하였으며, 자료 분석 방법으 로 수집된 자료의 통계처리는 데이터 코딩(data coding)과 데이터 크리닝(data cleaning) 과정을 거쳐 SPSS 22.0 for Windows 통계 패키지 프로그램을 사용하여 분석 하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미용학원 수강생의 일반적인 특성에 대해 알아본 결과, 학원 수강목적은 진학이 가장 높게 나타났으며 수강 과목은 메이크업이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로준비행동, 교육만족도의 타당성 및 신뢰도를 알아본 결과, 진로준비행동의 결과치는 0.6이상으로 도출되어 신뢰할만한 수준으로 나타났다. 교육만 족도의 결과치는 0.6이상으로 도출되어 신뢰할만한 수준으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로준비 행동이 교육만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과, 진로준비행동은 교육만족도에 유의미 한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 미용학원은 자신에게 적합한 진로를 선택하기 위해 진로준비를 하는 고등학생에게 자신의 흥미와 능력에 맞는 진로에 접근 할 수 있도록 적절한 선택을 하도록 도와주며 진로상담 뿐만 아니라 효과적인 진로를 선택 할 수 있도록 더욱 더 특화된 교육과 학습을 포함해야 한다고 사료된다. 이에 본 연구결과를 토대로 후속 연구와 관련하여 다음과 같이 제언한다. 후속연구에서는 조사지 역을 전국으로 확대할 필요성이 있고 학원 외에도 대학교를 중심으로 연구대상을 확대하 여 미용학과에 다니고 있는 대학생을 중심으로 한 진로준비행동 및 교육만족도를 연구할 필요성이 있을 것이라고 사료된다.
