In beauty and desire, especially hair styles, as the quality of life increases with cultural development and the advent of mass media. Even in weddings that want to be recognized as the most beautiful bride, individuality also appears in combination with other genres. In order to promote the bride’s hair style to a more differentiated and unique style, this study sought to study the wedding hair style with the bride’s own hair by applying a hat that can focus attention with the hair style. To find the motif of the hat, we studied wedding hair by using four hats from the Chanel Fashion Show, which always features hats in fashion shows, as motifs through internet data. Moe. Floppy, a wide-brimmed, decorative form of straw hats by selecting the characteristics and formative images of the hat, produced a beautiful, natural bride’s wedding hair style by expressing the large brim as waves and flowers. The round, flat form of beret, without a pack, was beautifully and romantically expressed using the cocoon technique. Canotier, a hat that now stands for Italian sailors, is in the form of a straw hat in a stylish, modern style. The motif of the hat is reinterpreted as a creative work of wedding hair, and it is aimed to develop into a field of art that advances by new design development and individual creative activity by approaching various ways and eyes using material of hair.

빠르게 변화하는 시대 속에서 현대 사회는 문화적 발달과 대중 매체의 등장으로 삶의 질이 높아짐에 따라 많은 사람들이 미적 관심과 욕구가 자신이 선호하는 개성으로 나타나 며 특히 헤어스타일에도 관심이 많아지고 있다. 가장 아름다운 신부로 인식되기를 원하는 결혼식에도 다른 장르와의 결합으로 개성이 나타나기도 한다. 이에 본 연구는 신부의 헤어스타일을 좀 더 차별화 되고 독특한 스타일로 승화시키기 위하여 헤어스타일과 함께 시선을 집중시킬 수 있는 모자를 응용하여 신부 자신의 모발로 웨딩헤어 스타일을 연구하 고자 하였다. 모자의 모티브를 찾기 위하여 선행연구와 인터넷 자료를 통해 패션쇼에서 모자를 항상 등장시키는 샤넬패션쇼에 나오는 4가지 모자를 모티브로 사용하여 웨딩헤어 작품을 연구하였다. 모자의 특징과 형태적 이미지를 선정하여 챙이 넓고 장식성이 강한 밀짚모자의 형태인 플로피(Floppy)는 큰 브림을 파도치는 웨이브와 꽃으로 표현하여 아름답고 내츄럴한 이미지를 제시하였고, 챙 없이 둥글고 납작한 형태의 베레(Beret)는 고리기법을 사용하여 아름답고 로맨틱 이미지를 제시하였다. 현재 이탈리아 뱃사공을 상징하는 모자인 카노티에(Canotier)는 밀짚모자 형태로 세련되고 모던한 이미지를 제시 하였고, 한 장의 팰트로 만들어진 프레임이 큰 모자인 카플린(Capeline)은 프림을 넓게 펼쳐서 우아하고 엘레강스한 이미지를 제시하였다. 모자의 모티브가 웨딩헤어의 창의적 인 작품으로 재해석 되고 헤어라는 소재를 사용하여 방식과 시선으로 접근하여 새로운 디자인 개발과 개성 있고 창의적인 창작 활동으로 더욱 진보하는 예술분야로 발전하는데 목적이 있다.
