This study examined the Korean record transitional process of Korean men’s triple jump from 1926 when the first Korean record was established to 2019 through the method of event record history. The first Korean record of men’s triple jump was 13m20 established by Kim, Han-Tae of Yongsan Moddle School, in Joseon Singung Competition of 1926. The record entered the range of 14m when Lee, Yong-Hak(Daegu High School) broke the record of 14m08 in 1934. From 1937 to 1941, Kim, Eung-Kwon led the record development of Korean triple jump by setting the world-class records of the time, starting from 15m23 to 15m86. After that, the records for 41 years were stagnant. In 1984, Park, Yeong-Joon of Korea National Sport University established a new Korean record of 15m89, and then raised the record to 16m37(1987), which was the moment of entering the range of 16m. In 1990, Park, Min-Soo of Seongnam City Hall established records from 16m40 to 16m73. In 2005, Kim, Deok-Hyeon(Chosun University) established a record of 16m78. When he set the Korean record of 17m10 in 2006, Korean men’s triple jump broke through the wall of 17m.

본 연구는 한국 남자 세단뛰기의 한국기록변천과정을 경기기록사 방법으로 첫 한국기록이 수립된 1926년부터 2019년 현재까지 살펴보았다. 남자 세단뛰기의 첫 한국기록은 1926년 조선신궁대회에서 용산중의 김한태가 세운 13m20이었다. 1934년에 이용학(대구고보)이 14m08의 기록을 경신하면서 14m대에 진입하였다. 1937년부터 1941년까지 김응권은 15m23을 시작으로 하여 15m86까지 당시에 세계적인 기록을 수립하며 한국 세단뛰기의 기록 발전에 앞장섰다. 이후 41년간 기록이 정체현상을 보이다가 1984년 한체대의 박영준이 15m89의 새로운 한국기록을 수립하며 16m37(1987)까지 기록을 끌어올리며 16m에 진입한다. 1990년도에 들어서면서 성남시청의 박민수는 16m40을 시작으로 16m73까지 기록하였다. 2005년에 김덕현(조선대)은 16m78을 수립하였고, 2006년에 17m10 의 한국기록을 세우며 한국남자 세단뛰기는 17m벽을 돌파하게 된다.
