This study identifies the structural relationship between physical activity participation, depression and life satisfaction from the viewpoint of APIM by selecting couple data from the KNHANES for analysis. The results of the analysis are as follows; First, both actor-effect model with no control variables and actor-effect model with control variables had a positive effect on depression. Second, participation in physical activity positively affects depression in the partner-effect model with no control variables and partner-effect model with control variables. Third, physical activity had a positive effect on the quality of life in the actor-effect model and the partner-effect model which did not consider the control variables, but it did not show significant effect in case of the control variables model. Fourth, both actor-effect model with no control variables and actor-effect model with control variables had a positive effect on the quality of life.

본 연구는 신체활동 참여, 우울증 및 삶의 만족간의 구조적 관계를 자기-상대방 상호의존모형 관점에서 규명하 기 위하여 국민건강영양조사(KNHNES) 자료 중 커플 데이터 즉 부부데이터만을 선별한 뒤, 분석에 활용하였다. 연구 목적의 달성을 위하여 1,842쌍의 부부 데이터가 사용되었으며, APIM 분석 방식을 적용하였다. 또한 가설검증을 위해 Amos 프로그램을 사용하였다. 구체적인 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통제변수를 고려하지 않은 모델과 통제변수를 고려한 자기효과 모델 모두 신체활동 참여가 우울증에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 둘째, 통제변수를 고려 하지 않은 상대방 효과 모델과 통제변수를 고려한 상대방 효과 모델 모두 신체활동 참여가 우울증에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 통제변수를 고려하지 않은 자기효과 모델과 상대방효과 모델에서 신체활동은 삶의 질에 정(+)적 인 영향을 미치고 있었으나 통제변수를 고려한 모델에서는 유의한 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 통제변수를 고려하지 않은 자기 효과 모델과 통제변수를 고려한 자기효과 모델 모두 우울증은 삶의 질에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치고 있었다.
