Determination of Proper Mixing Ratio of Food Waste for Recovery of Digestion Efficiency in Anaerobic Digestion of Livestock Waste

The anaerobic digestion of livestock waste are being actively studied by social and environmental demands. This study was shown that digestion efficiency was decreased down according to increase up of loading rate of livestock waste, whereas methane production yield was maintained between 0.13 and 0.18 m3 ⋅ CH4/kg ⋅ VSadded during this experimental periods and VS reduction rate of HRT 40 days was decreased down by about 11% when compared with digestion efficiency of HRT 100 days. The digester was operated in increasing of mixing rate of food waste for improving of efficiency after HRT 40 days. VS reduction rate was recovered to the level HRT 80days using livestock waste, in mixing ratio of 10% of food waste. VS reduction rate and methane production yield were 68% and 0.32 m3 ⋅ CH4/kg ⋅ VSadded, respectively, at mixing rate of 30% of food waste.

본 연구는 사회·환경적 요구에 따라 활발히 연구되고 있는 가축분뇨의 혐기성 소화시 가축분뇨 부하량 증가에 따른 소화효율의 감소 정도를 확인하였으며, 확인결과 메탄 발생 수율은 0.13-0.18 m3·CH4/kg·VSadded 으로 큰 저하가 확인 되지 않았지만 HRT 100일 시의 소화효율 대비 HRT 40일의 VS 감량율이 약 11% 감소하였다. 소화효율 회복을 위한 방 안으로 HRT 40일 이후 음식물류 폐기물 혼합비율을 점차 높여가며 소화를 진행하였으며, VS 감량율은 음식물류 폐기물 혼합비가 10% 일 때 가축분뇨 HRT 80일 수준으로 회복되었으며, 혼합비 30% 일 때 메탄수율과 VS 감량효율은 각각 약 0.32 m3·CH4/kg·VSadded와 약 68%였다.
