The golden ratio, the most beautiful proportion reflecting in our eyes, is proved as most beautiful proportion in our eyes by the wetern philosophers and artists and used in many arts and architectures. Recently it is also being used widely in plastice surgery as well as stock forcast, education programs, broadcasting, etc. The golden proportion is a demonstration of the beauty of nature proved with the mathematical logicality by the mathematicians such as Fibonacci and Pythagoras. In Asia, the nature is explained as the changes rooting the Hado and Naksue while the orientalism is reflected as mysticsm in western sense. In this study, I considered the mutual similarity in mutual relation between Haengryong methed and golden proportion in Tongmaeg Pungsu, our traditional pungsu. There is a big difference in ideological approaches to the nature between Orient and Western countries, however, the result-based criticism had a mutual similarity. Through this study, I'd like to provide the opportunity to perfom many studies comparing and analysing the oriental ideology with the wetern view of logicality to bear a clue of interculturality overcoming the difference between oreint and wetern cultures.

황금비율은 우리 눈으로 볼 수 있는 가장 아름다운 비율로 서구의 철학자, 예술가 들에 의하여 입증되어 건축이나 예술 등에 활용되어 왔으며, 최근에는 성형미용을 비롯한 증권시장의 시황 예측, 교육프로그램, 방송 등 여러 방면에서 활용되고 있다. 황금비율은 피보나치나 피타코라스와 같은 수학자들에 의하여 수학적 논리성으로 자연의 아름다움을 입증한 것이다. 동양에서 자연은 하도(河圖)와 낙서(洛書)를 근간으로 하고 있는 역(易)으로 설명 되고 있는데 서구적 시각에서 동양사상은 신비주의로 비춰지기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 동양사상 중 우리의 전통풍수인 통맥풍수의 행룡법 및 재혈법과 생왕룡 통맥법에 내재되어 있는 자연에 대한 사상과 황금비율과의 상관관계에 있어 상호 유사성을 고찰하였다. 동양과 서양의 자연에 대한 사상적 접근은 서로 상이하여 이질감을 가지고 있으나, 결과론적으로 자연관은 상호 유사성을 가지고 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 동·서양의 이질감을 극복하고 상호문화성(Interculturality)의 실마리가 될 수 있도록 동양의 사상을 서양의 논리적 시각과 비교 분석하는 연구가 많이 이루 어 질 수 있도록 단초를 제공하고자 한다.
