Nowadays, "village community" gets important initiatives about alternative way to promote sustainable development. This study explores village community in GangBuk-Gu in order to investigate the outcome of urban community for sustainable development. In this context, this study uses the program logic model for analysing village community. At results, it found out specific components of village community and suggested program logic model. There are three implications for developing the program; first, the government should take note that community empowerment and local people participation should not be only a superficial discourse but an actual paradigm for all members to follow ; second, major elements of model are based on interpersonal relationship; finally it needs the support network between various organizations and committees.

본 연구는 기초자치단체 주도하에 지역을 중심으로 전개되고 있는 마을공동체사 업을 실제 사례를 중심으로 분석하여 정책으로서 마을공동체 사업의 모형을 찾는데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 프로그램 논리모형을 적용하여 구체적인 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 마을공동체 사업을 구성하는 개별 요소별 특징을 제시하였고 마을공동체 사업 논리모형을 도출하였다. 이를 토대로 마을공동체 사업의 발전방향으로서 주민 주도성 사업 추진을 위한 교육 및 홍보 사업의 활성화, 사업추진 유형의 다변화, 자치 구내 전문조직 구성을 제언하였다.
