This study aims to find the therapeutic effect of the Thirty Verses on Consciousness Only written by Vasubandu. For the object, this study tried to examine the following two research questions through teaching the special program that contains Consciousness Only theory and its practice reinterpreting the Thirty Verses on Consciousness Only based on the therapeutic perspective: 1. Is there any difference on the Self-Compassion Scale, Depression.Anxiety.Stress Scale, and Satisfaction With Life Scale between the pretest and posttest before and after emgaging in the program? 2. Will the program affect the participants’ emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual growth? In the first research question verification, the result of the pre-post test of the patticipants(N=21) shows statistically significant differences. (t=2.34, p<0.05 by SCS, t=-2.50, p<0.05 by SWLS, t=3.00, p<0.01 by DASS). In the second research question verification, the result of the thematic analysis of the data that participants reported their experiences found 5 themes and 18 sub-themes; the participants showed positive changes in terms of emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual growth.

본 연구는 세친의 유식30송이 실제로 어떤 치료효과를 가지고 있는지 알아보고자 했 다. 연구방법으로 유식30송을 심리치유적 관점으로 재해석하여 이론과 실습을 포함 하는 10주 과정의 특강프로그램을 통해서 다음의 두 연구문제를 검증해보았다: 1.심 리치유적 관점에 기반한 유식30송 특강 프로그램에 참여하기 전과 참여하고 난 후 참 가자의 자기연민 척도(Self-Compassion Scale, SCS), 삶의 만족도 척도(Satisfaction With Life Scale, SWLS), 우울.불안.스트레스 척도(Depresssion.Anxiety.Stress Scale, DASS)의 검사결 과에 차이가 있는가? 2. 심리치유적 관점에 기반한 유식30송 특강 프로그램이 참가 자의 정서적 사회적 인지적 영적 성장에 영향을 미치는가? 첫 번째 연구문제에 대한 검증에서는 참가자들(N=21)의 사전-사후 검사 결과, SCS는 t=2.34, p<0.05, SWLS는 t=-2.50, p<0.05, DASS는 t=3.00, p<0.01수준에서 통 계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 두 번째 연구문제를 알아보기 위해서 특강에 참여 한 참가자의 경험에 대한 진술을 토대로 주제분석을 한 결과, 5개의 주요주제와 18개 의 하위주제들을 발견했으며 참가자들은 유식30송 특강을 통해서 정서적 사회적 인 지적 영적변화에 많은 긍정적 변화가 있었음을 발견했다.
