The objective of this study is to understand differences by comparatively analyzing the choreography shown in a film and musical using the same contents. After selecting a work , this study mainly researched the No.7 music of the musical film and the No.12 music of the musical with choreography based on the film images and the actual musical performance. In the results, the different presentation methods between film and musical had lots of effects on the choreography. First, in the musical, the elements of fantasy drama are actively used to help the flow of the drama. Second, in the musical, the sense of realism is emphasized as a role of show stopper. Third, it is presented through plot in the film while it is presented through scenes in the musical. Fourth, the film is presented through screen techniques while the musical is presented through space techniques. It is important to research the expansion of many Korean creations to the 2nd and 3rd areas through diverse cultural contents just like whose genre has been successfully changed to another one.

본 연구의 목적은 하나의 콘텐츠를 이용한 영화와 뮤지컬 속에 등장하는 안무를 비교분석하여 어떠한 차이점을 보이는지 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 작품 <맘마미아>를 선정하여 영화영상과 뮤지컬공연실황을 토대로 안무가 나오는 뮤지컬영화 No. 7곡과 뮤지컬 No. 12곡을 중심으로 연구하였다. 그 결과 영화와 뮤지컬이 가지 는 특성을 이해하고 안무를 해야 한다는 결론에 도달 할 수 있었다. 첫째, 뮤지컬에서는 판타지 드라마 요소를 적극 활용한 안무가 극의 흐름을 도와준다. 둘째, 뮤지컬에서는 쇼 스톱퍼의 역할로 현장성을 강조한다. 셋째, 영화에서는 줄거리를 통하여 표현하고 뮤지컬에서는 장면을 통하여 표현한다. 넷째, 영화는 화면구성기법으로 표현하며 뮤지컬은 공간기법으로 표현한다. 장르전환이 되고 있는 <맘마미아>작품처럼 우리나라의 많은 창작품 들 또한 다양한 문화콘텐츠를 통하여 2차, 3차로 그 영역이 확대되는 것을 연구하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다.
