This study is intended to verify the mediated effect of mindfulness in the influence of interpersonal competence of professional music therapists and students on the countertransference management ability. The samples of the study are 121 music therapy students and licensed professional music therapists now working throughout the Republic of Korea. The collected survey data are statistically measured by using the SPSS 22.0. The results of the research according to the hypotheses are as follows: First, the interpersonal competence of professional music therapists and students has a positive effect on countertransference management ability, and second, the mindfulness of professional music therapists and students mediates the relationship between interpersonal competence and countertransference management ability. The interpersonal competence of music therapists has a causal effect on countertransference management ability, and the effect differs by the level of mindfulness. This conclusion supports the pivotal role of education in improving the specialty of music therapists.

본 연구는 음악치료 전공생 및 전문가의 대인관계 유능성이 역전이 관리능력에 미치는 영향에서 마 음챙김의 매개효과를 검증하는 것에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구 대상은 인턴과정 중인 음악치료 전 공생과 공인 음악치료사 자격증 취득 후 전국에서 임상을 진행하고 있는 음악치료사 121명이며, 수 집된 설문자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 통계 분석하였다. 연구 가설에 따른 결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 음악치료 전공생 및 전문가의 대인관계 유능성이 역전이 관리능력에 정적영향을 미친 다는 가설은 지지되었다. 둘째, 음악치료 전공생 및 전문가의 마음챙김이 대인관계 유능성과 역전이 관리능력의 관계를 매개할 것이라는 가설은 지지되었다. 음악치료사의 대인관계 유능성이 역전이 관 리능력에 인과적 영향을 미치며 이러한 영향은 마음챙김의 정도에 따라 달라진다는 것으로, 음악치 료사의 전문성 향상을 위한 교육과 훈련에 있어 중요한 정보를 제공한다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.
