According to an in vitro test, regarding the antioxidant activity of Morinda citrifolia, the DPPH scavenging activity was estimated by measuring total polyphenol content and total flavonoid content. In addition, wrinkles under the eyes decreased in both the experimental and control groups four weeks after the use of the product. The said results found that Morinda citrifolia extract controls many inflammatory-related mechanisms with great potential for use as a natural ingredient of anti-aging cosmetics.
