This article is a certain essay. Although the term “a certain essay” means that the form of logical and systematic thesis is not sufficient, it is meaningful that a researcher who has not majored in history or archeology submits one opinion based on major. An assumption has not been raised since a long time ago by a researcher since it was presumed to be ‘Cheongsan－(BBulmae)－Gaksan’, and in such introductions and explanations there is no doubt that the assumption is accepted without any doubt. After pointing out the problem of this estimation based on the Korean language viewpoint, I would like to point out that the word ‘Gakgan(角干)’ is used in other words ‘Seobalhan’, ‘Seobulhan’ in the Samguksagi. And considering the phonological phenomena of ‘Habyongbeongseo’, ‘Cheongsan’ proved that it can not be ‘Gaksan’.

이 글은 하나의 단상이다. 굳이 단상이라 한 것은 논리적이고 체계적인 논문의 형식을 충분히 갖추지 못했다는 의미도 있지만, 역사학 혹은 고고학을 전공하지 않 은 연구자가 자기 전공에 입각해 하나의 의견을 제출한다는 의미가 크다. 이 단상은, 오래전 어느 연구자에 의해 ‘청산(靑山)－뿔메－각산(角山)’이라고 추정된 이래 명 확한 반론이 제기되지 않은 채 이러저러한 소개와 설명에서 그 추정이 별다른 의심 없이 받아들여지고 있는 현실에서 비롯되었다. 필자는 국어학적 견해에 입각해 이 추정의 문제점을 지적한 후에, ‘각간(角干)’을 다른 말로 ‘서발한(舒發翰) 또는 서불 한(舒弗邯)이라고 한 삼국사기의 전언, 그리고 합용병서(合用並書)의 원칙과 용례 그리고 그 음운현상 등을 고려하여 청산(靑山)은 각산(角山)이 될 수 없음을 논증하였다.
