Shenze Zhuizi is a kind of performing arts, which is developed from Henan Zhuizi in Hebei. Shenze Zhuizi is named after its main accompaniment of musical instrument, ZhuiQin, and is centered in Shenze County. This thesis deals mainly with its transformation process that it absorbs traditional opera content and realism based on the original Henan Zhuizi. This is the first time to introduce the Hebei local opera—Shenze Zhuizi to South Korea scholar, whereby hoping to extend the scope of comparative literature between China and South Korea. Shenze Zhuizi is developed from talking-singing arts to Chinese opera art by absorbing the stylized music, acting skill and etc from Chinese traditional opera on the basis of Henan Zhuizi. Shenze Zhui become an independent local Chinese opera art after three stage transformation: facial makeup Zhuizi—make-up Zhuizi—Shenze Zhuizi. As for ways of expression, Shenze Zhuizi has replaced the traditional opera lines with daily expression to make character more vivid. In addition, on the stage of Shenze Zhuizi, it makes a breakthrough of stylization and dance, and makes more use of natural daily actions. Shenze Zhuizi is put on the stage of European Style Theater in order to makes the opera time and space appear before audience by a mass of stage background and stage props. Some technological means , such as lighting, acoustic effect and etc have been used to make the effect of illusion. As for the content of Shenze Zhuizi, it is inspired by daily matter of ordinary people. It reflects modern ideas, such as anti-feudalism, Anti-superstition, rule of law, modernity and etc by describing character’s Values, world view, morality. It criticizes problems, such as lose of humanity and morality, social inequality and etc by showing the dispute and events between characters.

심택추자희는 하남추자가 근대 시기 하북에 파생되어 변형된 공연예술이다. 심택추자희는 심택현(深澤縣)을 중심으로 발전하였고, 주요 반주악기(추금)와 결합함으로써 그 명칭이 생성된 것이다. 이 연구에서는 원래 하남추자에서 형식적으로 진화한 심택추자희는 전통 희곡 형식에 현재적 리얼리즘의 개념을 도입해서 사실적 양상을 부각하는 희곡 양식으로 변모해온 과정을 살펴본다. 이러한 연구는 심택추자희를 한국에 처음으로 소개한다는 의의를 지닌다. 더구나 이러한 연구를 통해 한중 비교문학의 범위를 확장하고자 한다. 심택추자희는 하남추자를 바탕으로 중국 전통희곡의 정식화된 음악, 연기 등을 흡수해서 ‘강창예술’에서 ‘희곡예술’로 변형시켰다. 이러한 생성과정에서 ‘화장추자’-‘분장추자’-‘심택추자희’의 세 단계를 거쳤고, 마침내 중국 내에서 독립적인 지방 희곡 예술로 분화 자생할 수 있었을 뿐만 아니라, 현대화된 공연 예술로의 변전을 도모할 수 있었다. 표현 수단을 살펴보면, 심택추자희는 전통 희곡의 희문(戱文)을 버리고 일상어와 지방 어투로 인물을 더욱 생동감 있게 재현하고자 했다. 또한 정형화된 무용의 틀을 벗어나 자연스러운 일상적인 동작을 많이 선택하기도 했다. 심택추자희의 무대는 서구식 극장으로 옮겨지고, 이에 따라 사실적인 무대 배경과 무대 도구를 대폭적으로 수용하여 극의 시공간을 관객의 눈앞에 생생하게 재현할 수 있게 되었다. 여기에 조명과 음향 등 기술적인 수단까지 더해지면서 극시공간을 ‘사실(illusion)’처럼 감상할 수 있는 기반이 마련되었다. 작품 내용상으로 보면, 심택추자희에서는 보통 일반인이 주인공으로 설정되고, 일상에서 벌어지는 사건을 고사로 바꾸어 활용하고 있다. 인물의 가치관, 세계관, 도덕관 등에 대한 묘사를 통해 ‘반봉건’, ‘미신 타파’, ‘법치’, ‘현대성 강조’ 같은 현대인의 의식을 반영하고자 했다. 그 결과 심택추자희는 인물의 갈등과 사건의 전개를 통해 인성과 도덕성의 상실이나 불평등 등의 사회적 문제를 비판하는 주제적 목표를 실현할 수 있었다.
