The research purposed to analyze and study the lateral behavior of high-rise outrigger system considering floor diaphragm. For this aim, a structural schematic design of 80 stories building was performed with the major factors of structure analysis such as the diaphragm type, the outrigger position in plan, the stiffness of shear wall, the stiffness of slab and the stiffness of outrigger, using MIDAS-Gen. Based on the result of this analysis, we analyzed and considered the lateral displacement distribution in top level and the stress distribution in slab. In this paper, it is indicated that the type of diaphragm, the location of outrigger in plan, the stiffness of shear wall, the slab stiffness and the outrigger stiffness had an influence on lateral behavior in core and offset outrigger systems. And the study results can be useful in gaining the engineering data for searching the lateral behavior of core and offset outrigger system in the tall building.
