Standardization of spelling is an important part of maintaining the transparency and standardization of Vietnamese. Our article deals with standardization of Vietnamese spelling, both general and situational in order to find solutions to problems of Vietnamese usage. The results of the survey and analysis of related documents show that the legal documents on language policy in general and standardization of Vietnamese spelling in particular are lack of system, of the society in the integration period. To overcome this situation, scientists in Vietnamese language and teaching Vietnamese must play a key role in planning, formulating and conducting surveys and research to draft and promulgate. A unified Vietnamese standard spelling regulation. In addition, we also need to prepare the legal corridor, the need for the attention of the whole society and especially the entry of the narrow sectoral system from the central to the branches, fields and localities.

Chuẩn hóa chính tả tiếng Việt có vai trò quan trọng trong một văn bản pháp luật hay một quy tắc tiếng Việt nhằm nêu lên tính xác thực, minh bạch trong tiếng Việt. Vì vậy, trong bài viết này chúng tôi cố gắng đưa ra những ý kiến của mình dựa trên một số quan điểm của các học giả đã nghiên cứu trước. Để có kết quả nghiên cứu này, chúng tôi đã thu thập các dữ liệu rồi phân tích một cách hệ thống theo những tiêu chuẩn chính tả tiếng Việt để đáp ứng nhu cầu xã hội hiện nay. Để khắc phục những vấn đề này, chúng tôi thiết nghĩ các nhà nghiên cứu về ngôn ngữ tiếng Việt, các học giả cũng như các cơ quan ban ngành cần xem xét và đưa ra một dự thảo về “Quy định thống nhất về chính tả tiếng Việt” để mang tính thiết thực hơn trong việc vận dụng với thực tiễn ngày nay.
