The purpose of the study is to contribute to preventive measures by improving understanding of sexual grooming on child and adolescent. Sexual Grooming is generally considered a way to build trust and friendship between the perpetrator and the victim(children, and adolescents). This is ultimately intended to create a favorable situation for the perpetrator to engage in sexual abuse, which may be difficult to understand and vice versa. Clearly, understanding Grooming helps explain why a child cooperates with or even condones sexual behavior. Therefore, in order to reduce child and adolescent sexual abuse and prepare preventive measures, the ability to understand the sexual abuses committed in Grooming and identify how they behave and what mechanisms they have is essential. Research has shown that as a measure to prevent sexual crimes committed by Grooming, efforts should be made to foster awareness levels throughout society, and prepare standardized support and recruitment procedures.

이 연구의 목적은 아동·청소년 그루밍 성범죄에 대한 이해를 증진시켜 예방대책에 기여하기 위한 것이다. 그루밍 성범죄는 일반적으로 가해자와 피해 아동·청소년 사이의 신뢰와 우정을 쌓는 방법으로 여겨진다. 이것은 궁극적으로는 가해자가 성 학대를 할 수 있는 유리한 상황을 만들기 위한 것으로써 그 과정을 이해하는 것은 어려울 수도 있고, 반대로 체계적일 수도 있다. 분명한 것은 그루밍을 이해하는 것이 왜 아이가 성적인 행동에 협조하거나 심지어 묵인하는지를 설명하는 데 도움이 된다는 것이다. 그러므로 아동·청소년의 성 학대를 감소시키고 예방책을 마련하기 위해서는 그루밍 성범죄를 이해하고 그루머들이 어떻게 행동하는지, 어떠한 매커니즘을 갖고 있는지 식별할 수 있는 능력이 필수적이다. 연구 결과, 그루밍 성범죄 예방대책으로는 첫째, 사회 전체의 인식 수준을 함양시켜야 한다. 둘째, 부모 및 아동에 대한 보호행동 강화 교육을 실시해야 하며, 마지막으로 성범죄자들이 아동과 관련한 교육기관 및 봉사활동에 진입할 수 없도록 표준화 된 지원 및 채용 절차 마련에 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.
