The Effects of Stress and Self-Esteem on Depression in Christian College Students : Moderating Effect of Intrinsic Spirituality

This study examined the effects of stress and self-esteem on depression in Christian college students. For the study, 382 Christian Education college students were surveyed. The results showed that intrinsic spirituality was negatively correlated with stress and depression, while it was positively correlated with self-esteem. It also revealed that intrinsic spirituality was the control between the two variables of self-esteem and depression among the students.

본 연구는 기독대학생의 스트레스와 자존감이 우울에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보는 것이었다. 연구를 위해 기독대학생 382명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과 내재적 영성과 스트레스, 우울은 부적상관관계가 있는 것 으로, 그리고 내재적 영성과 자존감은 정적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 기독대학생의 자존감과 우울과 의 관계에서 내재적 영성은 두 변인의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 확인되었다.
