In Christianity, pastoral ministry and worship are important links that can not be separated. Therefore I began to study ministry and worship. The research is to begin with the theoretical basis of ministry and worship in the first place. It begins with a theological description as to who God is and what he has done for his people. The most important confession is that “God is the one who saved us who died in fault and sin.” If there is a theology statement, the response to it is to follow actual orders. It is to ask how the people of God who were saved should live in the world. Next, in this study, I will present the practical direction of ministry and worship. We will focus on the EPIC model of Leonard Sweet, a 21st century futurist. He saw the EPIC model as being most suitable for use in the ministry and worship in the post modern cultures. It is firstly, the ministry and worship to experience and feel(Experiential), secondly, the ministry and worship to participate in and interact(Participatory), thirdly, ministry and worship to think with image and metaphor(Image-driven), and lastly, ministry and worship to offer worship in which relationship is activated(Connected). It is that the pastor of the present era leads people to experience and feel, allows them to form a church community to participate and interact so that they could think with image and metaphor. In the end, the pastor should help them to extend the Kingdom of God in this worldy by establishing the living church community.

기독교에 있어서 목회와 예배는 서로 분리되어질 수 없는 중요한 연 결고리이다. 따라서 필자는 목회에서 중요한 예배의 신학과 실천에 대 한 연구를 시작하게 되었다. 연구는 먼저 예배의 신학적 기초를 논하고 자 한다. 그것은 신학적 서술로부터 시작하는 것인데 하나님은 누구이 시며, 하나님께서 그의 백성들을 위해서 하신 일이 무엇인지를 인식하 는 것이다. 가장 핵심적인 고백은“하나님이 허물과 죄로 죽었던 우리 를 살리신 분”이라는 것이다. 신학적 서술이 있으면 그것에 대한 반응 은 실제적 명령을 따르는 것이다. 그것은 곧 구원받은 하나님의 백성들 이 이 세상에서 어떻게 살아가야 하는 것인지를 질문하는 것이다. 다음으로는 본 연구에 있어서 예배의 실천적 방향을 제시하고자 한 다. 이것은 21세기 미래 신학자인 Leonard Sweet의 EPIC 모델을 중심 으로 살펴볼 것이다. 그는 이 EPIC 모델을 포스트모던 문화 속에서 가 장 적합하게 사역과 예배에 사용할 수 있는 것으로 보았는데 그것은 첫 째로 경험하고 느끼는 목회와 예배 (Experiential), 둘째로 참여하고 상 호작용할 수 있는 목회와 예배 (Participatory), 셋째로 이미지와 은유로 사고하는 목회와 예배(Image-driven), 넷째로 관계가 살아있는 목회와 예배(Connected)를 드리는 것이다. 현 시대의 목회자는 성도들로 하여 금 경험하고 느끼도록 인도하고, 참여하고 상호작용하는 교회공동체를 형성하여 이미지와 은유로 사고하게 하고, 결국은 관계가 살아있는 교 회 공동체를 세워서 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 예배를 드릴 수 있도록 이 땅에 하나님의 나라를 확장시켜 나가야 할 것이다.
