The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of family self - efficacy on the quality of life of the rural elderly. The subjects of this study were 206 elderly people living in rural area of G district from August 10 to November 10, 2017. The main results of this study are as follows. First, family health was found to affect the quality of life. Second, family health was found to affect self - efficacy. Third, self - efficacy was found to affect the quality of life. Fourth, self - efficacy on the effect of family health on quality of life showed partial mediating effect. According to the results of this study, it is necessary to create jobs for the rural elderly for the health of the elderly, to develop community centers and community programs, and to exchange fellow seniors. The quality of life can be increased by improving the self - efficacy as a way to solve the factors that interfere with the social life participation as a constraint factor between the strata because the quality of life of the elderly is shrinking. Therefore, the rural elderly welfare service should continuously provide the specificity of various subgroups of the elderly population from the perspective of the future.

본 연구는 농촌지역 노인의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 대안으로 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로 농촌지역 노인의 가족건강성이 삶의 질에 어떤 영향관계가 있는지 규명하였다. 연구대상은 2017년 8월 10일부터 11 월10일까지 G도 P군 농촌지역 거주 206명 노인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족건강성은 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘 째, 가족건강성은 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자기효능감은 삶의 질에 영향을 미 치는 것으로 나타났다 넷째, 가족건강성이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 대한 자기효능감은 부분매개효과를 보 이는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 따라 노인들의 가족건강성을 위한 농촌노인에게 일자리 창출과 마을회관 및 지 역경로당 프로그램 개발, 동료배 노인의 교류 등 제도가 요구된다. 이는 노인들의 삶의 질이 위축되어 계층 간의 제약 요인으로 사회 생활 참여를 저해하는 요소들을 해소하는 방안으로 자기효능감을 향상시킴으로써 삶의 질이 증대될 수 있다. 따라서 노인 인구의 다양한 하위 집단의 특이성을 미래지향적 시각에서 농촌노 인 복지서비스를 지속적으로 마련해 주어야 한다.
