This study proposed a plan for many small- and medium-sized furniture companies to cooperate or link with one another and thus to transport purchased materials, operate a logistics center, and deliver them to consumption sites with their material purchase and manufacturing facilities. The study also developed a physical distribution rationalization model by manufacturing products in a module-based semi-finished form, keeping them in logistics warehouses, distributing to agents at final consumption sites, and assembling and selling modules at agents with a point of contact with consumers according to their choices instead of manufacturing final finished products at factories in addition to the plan of linkage among many companies. the investigator came up with logistic alternatives for finished products by each company and postponement through corporate linkage proposed in the study compared and analyzed each alternative in four items including purchase costs, transportation costs, stock maintenance costs, and shipping costs.

다수의 중소 가구업체가 협력 또는 연계하여 자재의 구매, 제조설비로 구입자재를 수송하고 물 류센터의 운영 및 소비지로 배송하는 개선된 방안을 제시하였다. 다수의 기업이 연계하는 방안과 더 불어 공장에서 최종 완성품을 제조하지 않고 모듈형태의 반제품 형태로 제조하여 물류창고에 보관 및 최종소비지의 대리점으로 분배하고, 소비자와의 접점에 있는 대리점에서 소비자의 선택에 따라 모듈 을 조립하여 판매하는 물류합리화 방안에 대한 모형을 개발하였다. 기존의 각 기업별로 완제품을 대 상으로 한 물류대안과 본 연구에서 제시한 기업연계를 통한 제품유예를 대상으로 한 물류대안을 설정 하고 각 대안에 대한 구매비용, 수송비, 재고유지비 및 배송비용의 4가지 항목에 대하여 비교· 분석을 실시하였다.
