After the emergence of EA as an enterprise-wide framework that administers and plans organization as a whole, many organizations have introduced EA or are considering. In contrast to ISP-based approach that makes drastic organizational changes in a single trial, EA approach that focuses continuous management and innovation is constantly spreading its needs. However, Enterprises and organizations are experiencing lack of information or resources that can be helpful for introducting EA. In this paper, a review for the case is done for an university's EA introduction. By reviewing various problems and situations, we will investigate how the construction of enterprise- wide infrastructure can affect to the innovation of organizational processes, as well as investigate what challenges should be solved afterwards. Especially, we propose developing meta model customized to each university and usage-oriented architecture.

EA(Enterprise Architecture)가 조직의 전산 인프라를 총체적으로 기획·관리하기 위한 전사 적 방법론으로 대두된 이후, 많은 조직들이 EA를 도입하였거나 도입을 검토하고 있다. 정보화전략계 획(ISP: Information Strategic Planning)과 같은 기존의 단발적인 접근법과 달리, EA는 지속적인 관리와 혁신에 초점을 두고 있으며, 그 필요성에 대한 공감대도 계속 넓어지고 있다. 그러나 실제 구 축사례를 통해 얻은 교훈과 경험이 국내에서 활발히 공유되지 않아, EA의 도입을 고려하고 있는 조 직들이 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 대학교에 EA를 도입하는 과정에서 발생되 었던 여러 문제점들을 사례를 통해 검토함으로써, 어떻게 조직 내에서 프로세스 혁신을 이룰 수 있으 며, 남겨진 과제는 무엇인지를 살펴보고자 한다. 특히, 개별 대학에 특화된 메타모델의 개발과 활용중 심의 아키텍처 설계를 제안하고자 한다.
