In order to perform the joint operation of Korean army efficiently, informations about surveillance, reconnaissance, and situation awareness need to be shared jointly. In the first development phase (basic type) of the Korean joint tactical data link system (KJTDLS), essential tactical information and situation awareness are shared among platforms by utilizing existing wireless terminals. In the second development phase (complete type) of the KJTDLS, a JTDLS which can perform network centric warfare (NCW) will be developed with consideration of the technology development for the basic type and the maturity of commercial technology. This is a battlefield system that can provide simultaneous and integrated fighting power through command and control messages delivered to each platform participating in the joint and combined operations. In this paper, the development of KJTDLS with a common data processor based on Military Data Link Integration Application (MDLIA) is described.

한국군의 효과적인 합동작전 수행을 위해서는 감시정찰 및 상황인식의 정보 공유가 필요하다. 실시간으로 합동전력 간의 전술정보를 공유하기 위한 한국형 합동전술데이터링크 체계는 1단계인 기 본형에서는 음성위주의 기존 무전기를 활용하여 필수 전술정보와 상황인식을 공유한다. 2단계인 완성 형은 기본형의 기술개발과 상용기술의 성숙도를 고려하여 네트워크 중심전의 수행이 가능한 합동데이 터링크를 개발할 예정이다. 이는 연합작전 및 합동작전에 참가하는 전력들 간에 효과적인 지휘통제를 제공하여 동시적이며 통합적인 전투력 발휘가 가능한 전장체계이다. 본 논문에서는 MDLIA 기반의 공통 데이터 처리기가 구현된 한국형 합동전술데이터링크의 체계 개발에 대하여 살펴본다.
