IT Architecture, which is being constructed for securing interchangeability of information system on the governmental level and efficiently managing information resources, is expected to gain much more effects than its original purpose. This project aims to improve the quality of the governmental service offered to people by driving systematic, consistent information operations and forming a solid high-tech basis for implementing an electronic governmental system. Accordingly, KERIS is in charge of implementing information-oriented education, has also selected IT Architecture as a tool for offering the service and contents of high quality and quantity, and through this effort, it aims to play a role in driving IT Governance, which acts as an administrative institution for information system and as a basis for all information-oriented operations in the future. Along with IT Architecture operations pursued since 2005, KERIS aims to offer education-related organizational consulting services based on the knowledge and experience accumulated through introducing 2007 education and research information service IT architecture, and the details regarding this study were discussed as follows.

교육정보화를 중추적으로 추진하고 있는 한국교육학술정보원은 고객에게 양질의 서비스와 콘텐츠를 제공하기 위한 도구로써 정보기술아키텍처를 선택하였으며, 이를 통하여 향후 모든 정보화 사업의 기반과 더불어 정보시스템 관리체계로써의 역할인 IT Governance를 추진하기 위한 역할을 수행하고자 한다. "05년부터 추진해온 정보기술아키텍처 사업과 더불어" 07년 학술연구정보서비스 정보기술아키텍처 도입을 통해 축적된 지식과 경험을 토대로 향후 교육관련 기관 컨설팅을 추진하고자 하며, 본 연구에 관한 자세한 내용은 다음과 같이 논의 하였다.
