In order to cultivate the creative-convergence talent suitable for the 4th industrial revolution era, the education should be developed into the convergence education led by the interdisciplinary convergence and the creative competitiveness. Thus, the objective of this study is to develop a design creative-convergence educational model that could be effectively used at educational site. As the research methods, to verify the matter of the improvement of creative thinking by dividing the subjects into ‘majors in design’ and ‘non-majors in design’, the pre-test on the design creativity through problem-solving was conducted before providing the design creative-convergence educational program. Based on the curriculum, the design creative-convergence educational program was performed for 15 weeks. Conducting the post-test after the program ended, the relation of differences between pre/post tests was verified in the significance probability through t-test. In the results of this study, in case of the ‘majors in design’, the p-value of ‘expressional diversity(t=1.297, p=.000)’ and ‘expressional originality(t=.962, p=.000)’ was 0.05 or lower, so that there were statistically significant differences. In case of the ‘non-majors in design’, the p-value of ‘expressional concentrativeness(t=3.962, p=.000)’ was 0.05 or lower, so that there were statistically significant differences. The results of this study show that the design creative-convergence education could be used as a useful program for the increase of creative thinking. In the future, it would be necessary to develop diverse educational programs for the cultivation of creative design thinking, and also to expansively use them in the actual educational site.

4차 산업혁명 시대에 걸맞은 창의융합인재를 양성하기 위해서는 학문 간 융합과 창조적 경쟁력이 주도하는 융합교육으로 발전해나가야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 교육현장에서도 효과적으로 활용될 수 있는 디자인창의융합교육 모델을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 ‘디자인 전공자’와 ‘디자인 비전공자’ 그룹을 구분하여 창의적 사고력 향상 여부를 검증하기 위해 디자인창의융합교육 프로그램 시행 전 문제해결을 통한 디자인창의성 사전검사를 시행하였으며, 15주에 걸쳐 디자인창의융합교육 프로그램의 커리큘럼에 기반한 수업을 진행하였다. 프로그램 종료 후에는 사후검사를 시행하여 사전사후 검사의 차이를 t-검증을 통해 유의확률로 관계성을 입증하였다. 연구결과 ‘디자인 전공자’ 집단의 경우 ‘표현의 독창성(t=.962, p=.000)’과 ‘표현의 다양성(t=1.297, p=.000)’의 유의확률이 0.05이하로 나타나 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. ‘디자인 비전공자’ 집단의 경우‘ 표현의 집중성(t=3.962, p=.000)’의 유의확률이 0.05이하로 나타나 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 디자인창의융합교육이 창의적 사고력 신장에 유용한 프로그램으로 활용될 수 있다는 조사 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 향후에도 창의적 디자인사고 함양을 위한 다양한 교육프로그램이 개발되어 실제 교육 현장에서 널리 활용될 수 있길 기대한다.
