There is been growing how to measure performance invested by a government and enterprise with politic part of technology is getting bigger. So, many researchers are trying to make methodical statistics index system. For this reason, CII(Company Innovation Index) was issued by Science and Technology Policy Institute. So, this paper attempts to analyze relevancy with CII using patent index utilizing patent information after investigation about what factors which can determine CII basis on 299 companies listed on stock market in Korea in 2011. This paper compare CII base on research model of empirical analysis after sorting out Family, Number of Family Country, Number of Priority, The Present or Absence of Agent, Number of Inventor in major four countries. As a result, the impact by patent index, which adopts bibliography commonly used from each country's patent data base, on CII was meaningful with Family, Number of Family Country, Number of Priority in major four countries and patent index about patent status. There are implications that the point of attempt to analysis about relation with patent index through analysis of the top 299 companies including some company which invest heavily in consideration of company innovation, excluding size of firm, and the point of analysis about relation with six patent indexes, above mentioned, comes up without reference to each country's patent data base. It seems that there are more requirements to consider many variables to measure faithfully impact on company by company innovation level. If there is appropriate research about patent index which used as information for management with growing the value as intangible property, the accuracy and adaptability of generalization about result of research are expected to highly increase.

최근 들어, 과학기술에 대한 정책적 비중이 커지고 과학기술에 대한 정부와 기업의 투자도 급격 하게 증가하면서 그 성과 측정에 대한 요구도 커져오고 있으며, 체계적이고 종합적인 통계와 지표체 계를 만들고자 하는 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 노력으로 기업의 혁신성에 대해 체계성, 지속성, 간결성을 갖춘 정보로 과학기술정책연구원에서 2010년, 2011년 시험적 조사를 토대로 2012년부터 기업혁신지수(Company Innovation Index : CII)를 발표해 오고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2011년 을 기준으로 우리나라 주식시장에 상장(거래소 및 코스닥 상장사 포함)된 261개 기업을 대상으로 기 업의 혁신수준을 결정하는 요인이 무엇인지에 대해 살펴보고, 특허정보를 활용한 특허지표를 이용하 여 기업혁신지수와의 관련성을 분석하고자 한다. 주요 4개국 패밀리 국가수, 주요 4개국을 제외한 패 밀리 국가수, 우선권 지정개수, 대리인 지정개수, 특허상태(조기공개, 조기등록), 발명자 수를 특허지 표로 선별하여 기업혁신지수와 비교를 하였으며, 각 국가별 특허데이터에서 공통적으로 활용할 수 있 는 서지사항을 채택한 특허지표와 기업혁신지수와의 관련성을 분석한 결과는 주요4국 패밀리 국가수, 주요 4개국을 제외한 패밀리 국가수, 우선권 지정 개수에 관한 특허지표가 유의미하게 나타났다. 기업 의 규모를 배제하고, 기업의 혁신성을 고려하여 혁신에 대한 투자가 많은 기업들을 포함한 상위 261 개 기업의 분석을 통해 특허지표와의 관계에 대한 분석을 시도하고 있다는 점과 본 연구에서의 6개 특허지표는 국가별 특허데이터에 관계없이 도출할 수 있는 지표들로 기업혁신지수와의 관련성을 분석 하였다는 점에서 그 의미를 가진다는 시사점이 있다. 기업의 혁신수준이 기업에 미치는 영향을 보다 신뢰성 있게 측정하기 위해 고려해야 할 여러 가지 변수가 필요할 것으로 보이나, 무형의 재산권으로 그 가치가 증가함에 따라 권리적인 정보와 경영적인 정보로도 활용이 확대되고 있는 특허지표에 대해 서 다양한 지표를 적용한 연구가 이루어진다면 연구결과에 대한 정확성과 일반화 적용가능성이 더욱 높아질 것으로 기대된다.
