The Military Training in the Joseon Dynasty Era was mainly processed under the lead of the King, and they made it a rule to enforce the event twice during summer & fall in a year. The Military Training has the meaning that it was processed as a miliary drill during a summer break from farming, while it was confirmed as an event for mobilizing the military establishment. The Military Training basically had the feature of perfecting soldiers' battle formation as well as martial arts during the time of peace. This manuscript aims to explain the historical meaning of The Military Training and help to make the relevant event historical content. On the basis of the study for the meaning in the various ceremonies in the Korean history, I try to ponder on using plan to utilize it effectively in this modern world. I do believe that it is a historian's role to study various meaning of content as well as provide the people with content touched easily in the historical data. I hope that I will partly contribute to the task that I can utilize the plentiful cultural resources in the Korean history in a various method through this.

조선시대 강무(講武)는 주로 국왕의 주도 아래 진행되었고, 봄과 가을 1년에 두 차례 시행하는 것을 원칙으로 했다. 강무는 농한기에 군사훈련을 진행하고 군사동원체제를 확인하는 행사로 의의를 가지고 있다. 강무는 기본적으로 비전쟁시기 병사들의 진법과 무예를 연마하는 훈련의 성격을 가지고 있었다. 본고는 강무의 역사적 의의를 설명하면서 관련 의례를 하나의 역사콘텐츠로 만드는 작업에 도움을 주기 위한 목적을 가지고 있다. 한국사 속의 다양한 의례들이 가지고 있는 의의에 대한 연구를 바탕으로 현대사회에서 이를 보다 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안도 함께 고민해보고자 한다. 역사자료 속에 남아 있는 다양한 콘텐츠들의 의미를 설명하는 연구는 물론 이를 대중들이 쉽게 접할 수 있는 콘텐츠로 제공하는 일 또한 역사학자들의 역할이라 생각한다. 이를 통해 한국역사 속에 있는 풍부한 문화자원들을 다양한 방식으로 활용하는 작업에 일정 부분 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.
