In this study, we selected the Grand Plie to express the highest expression(Sous-Sus) and the lowest expression within the range where the feet did not fall down from the floor during the ballet movement. The purpose of this comparative study is in understanding the uniformity of lighting on achromatic costume color during certain ballet movement. Comparatively, black costumes are less prone to a balanced uniformity than white ones, the spread between the two showed a big difference. The results are noticeable when the dancers want to express details or a more visually focused emotion to the audience. Despite the difference in various genre of Korean dance, ballet and modern dance, the dancing community works diligently to display creative performance and innovative movement. One has to keep an eye on the needs to provide a more elevate stage, as the expression of portraying various movements and expression have changed.

본 연구는 발레 동작 중 바닥에서 발이 떨어지지 않는 한도 내에서 가장 높게 표현할 수 있는 수수(Sous-Sus) 동작과 가장 낮게 표현할 수 있는 그랑 플리에(Grand Plie)를 선정하고, 이러한 특정 발레동작에서 무채색 의 상색상에 따른 LED조명의 광원균일도를 비교하여 보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 검은색 의상은 흰색 의상보다 균일 하게 빛을 투과하지 못하였고, 빛의 흩어진 정도가 흰색 의상보다 큰 차이를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 안무가가 관객에게 섬세한 움직임을 보여주고 싶거나 시각적으로 집중적인 표현을 할 때 영향을 미친다. 무용계는 한국 무용, 발레, 현대무용 등 장르를 불문하고 참신한 움직임과 창의적인 공연을 만들어 내기 위해 노력하고 있다. 이와 맞물려 다양한 움직임을 더 효과적으로 표현하고 완성도 높은 공연을 위해 변화하는 공연 환경 변화에 대해 다각적인 관점에서 관심을 기울여야 할 것이다.
