The issue of social adaptation Korea of North Korean residents is not a problem yesterday and today. The importance of drug abuse and drug crime in the world is deepening. In this study, we analyzed the basic understanding of the North Korean residents and the various statistics and cases of the situation of the criminal status of the North Koreans and the drugs and other harmful drugs. The purpose of the study was to grasp the causes of drug crime and establish preventive measures for North Korean residents. First, I investigated the change of drug addiction and drug crime of the North Korean breakaway residents. The result was figuring out what is the social maladjustment problem of North Korean breakaway residents Korea of drug addiction and drug offenses. The cause of drug addiction and drug crimes by North Korean breakaway residents was revealed. Further raised the need for the switching of the consciousness of the North Korean breakaway residents as a tool for the key to solve this. and expanded the solution support for the prevention of drug addiction, and the enhancement of the policy collaboration system, proposed measures of substantive criminal justice procedures that can assist North Korean breakaway residents.

북한이탈주민의 한국사회의 적응문제는 어제 오늘의 문제가 아니다. 이와 더불어 전 세계 적으로 약물남용 및 마약류 범죄의 심각성은 점점 더 깊어지고 있다. 본 연구는 북한이탈주민에 대한 기본 이해와, 북한이탈주민의 범죄현황 개관과 마약류 등 유해약물 실태를 각종 통계와 사례를 통하여 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 북한이탈주민 마약류 범죄 원인을 파악하고 예방대책을 수립하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 이에 북한이탈주 민의 약물중독 및 마약류범죄 변화추이를 살펴봄으로써 북한이탈주민의 약물중독 및 마약류 범죄로 인한 남한사회 부적응 관련 문제가 무엇인지를 탐색하였다. 이를 통해 북한이탈주민 의 약물중독 및 마약류범죄의 발생원인을 파악하였다. 나아가 이를 해결키 위한 방안으로 북 한이탈주민에 대한 인식전환이 필요성을 제기하였다. 더불어 약물중독 예방을 위한 정착지원 확대 및 정책협업체계의 강화, 북한이탈주민에 도움이 될 수 있는 실질적인 형사사법적 대책 마련을 제시하였다.
