이 연구는 황기의 당수도·수박도·태권도 무덕관의 정체성을 제시하였는데 이에 관한 결론 도출은 다음과 같 다. 첫째, 우리 무예인들에게 많은 도움을 주고 있는 것이 바로 태권도 무덕관의 수박도 원형 및 실제의 역사관이다. 무덕 관이 가지고 있는 역사관과 철학관 그리고 신체사상관의 이치 및 실제의 극치에 대한 의미와 가치관을 명확히 제시하지 못하고 있다. 올바른 무덕관의 원형 수박도를 통해 신체관과 역사관에 나타난 의미와 가치를 제시할 수 있을 것이다. 둘 째, 황기는《武藝圖譜通志》에 나오는 권법에《수박도》언급하였으며 1957년에 처음으로 무예서적인《武藝圖譜通 志》를 발견하였다. 이로 인해 무예인들에게 무형의 문화유산을 다시 남겨주었으며 다시 한 번 무예 소중함을 주었다. 뿐 만 아니라 태권도인과 무덕관 수박도의 원형에 관한 복원․재현할 수 있는 역사적 가치를 주었다. 셋째, 황기에 의해 교통 부 소속 운수부 당수도부로 창설되었다. 1955년 5월 정식으로 무덕관 이름으로 중앙도장이 서울 중구 동자동에 개관하 였다. 그가 남긴 수박도 원형을 신체문화자원인 태권도 무예문화의 활용한 태권도계의 학문에 관련 자료를 수집ㆍ분석 해 타당성을 검토하고 나아가 국기 태권도로 수립하는 것이다. 따라서 태권도의 원류 무덕관에 관한 올바른 역사성 및 정체성과 무형유산의 문화적 가치를 통한 제반적인 학문적 지식체계를 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
